+First Mobile Phone Call

Made on April 3, 1973

Was made from a Manhattan Street Corner- 6th Ave. between 53rd and 54th

Martin Cooper made the phone call to his rival, Joel Engel, from Bell Systems

Coopers exact words weren’t recorded the way Samuel Morse’s first telegraph message was, or Alexander Graham Bells first phone call, but it went something like this “I’m ringing you just to you just to see if my call sounds good on your end.”

As he was walking the streets, bystanders stared in aw that he was outside walking around while talking on a hand held phone

This was the start of something revolutionary
