The Acquisition International Business Excellence Awards has named his operation ‘Best Marquee Hire Company, South East’. His companies, Trafalgar Marquees and JF Marquees, are also marking five years in business, with £500,000 sales. James, 28, started the operation as a student at university and since then he has won accounts with leading national and global brands such as Nike, English Heritage, BP and Hyatt hotels. Trafalgar Marquees operates throughout Surrey and the South East working for weddings, businesses, family celebrations and themed parties suggested by James and his team, (James Bond, Chinese Dragon and Regency events have proved very popular). The team at the civil engineering and groundwork material specialist, located on Alton Road, donated a range of sports equipment including cones, speed ladders, passing arcs and water bottles to help children learn new skills and enhance their agility and co- ordination techniques. Challengers is dedicated to providing exciting play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people between the ages of two to 25. Along with the benefits to children and young people, the charity gives families a short break during high pressure times and offers fun and safe environments for children and young people in local communities.
