Dear Parents/Carers Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the remote learning survey that was sent out on Monday. The survey will close at 4pm today to allow me the opportunity to look through the feedback you have given and respond accordingly. I will write to you next week to share the future plans of the school as we move through these challenging times. I do hope that you follow our account on Twitter, as there are often some wonderful examples of the work that children in different year groups have been doing, which I am sure you will be interested in looking at. Our Twitter handle is @mv_primary and you are very welcome to follow us! On the school's PTA Facebook page, the committee often update important messages and information about our school. SPONSORED READ - Reminder Details have been sent home recently about our ‘Sponsored Read’
which will run from Monday 9th November until Sunday 15th November, in conjunction with Usborne Books.
We want to encourage every child to enjoy reading and to bring lots of new books into our class libraries by hopefully raising £1000 across the school (equivalent to each child being sponsored £2).
Your child can either read themselves or be read to, it could be a book, comic, magazine, newspaper, menu, website, poem, leaflet, instructions - anything with words! Keep a simple log
of sponsor money and record the minutes your child spends reading.
Details have already been sent to you about how to ‘hand in’ your sponsor money securely online by Monday 22nd November.
