• Assignments will be made on July 31st . It will take approximately two week to process the applications. The hunters will be notified via e-mail when to pick-up their packets at MHS Customer service.
• Directions for completing on line applications (User Guide) can be located on the front page of the web site.
MHS HUNTING REGULATIONS
Safety of the MHS students and your safety is our number one objective!
Minimum MHS hunter requirements: Full-time regular and retired employees Dependents with Junior hunting license
Accompanied by parent/legal guardian who is in the hunting program, must hunt stationary and within arms reach of adult - One lawful hunting device.
MHS HUNTING REGULATIONS• Policy of no hunting in safety zones on
School or Trust lands regardless of occupant’s permission. This applies to safety zones resulting from on site facilities as well as those extending onto trust lands from off site buildings
• Arm band, two vehicle cards, two metal tree stand identification labels will be issued .
• No coordinated efforts to move deer from or within cover using drives or pushes

Minimum Tackle Requirements
Inline muzzleloaders with scopes, sabots and pelletized powder.
Shotguns equipped with scopes, rifled barrels and sabots

Stand location must be approved by hunt manager
and GPS coordinates must be provided
The definition of a stand is the place where an individual will hunt whether from a tree stand or on the ground.
Hunters may move from stand to stand and have multiple stand locations but will be discouraged from shooting while moving from stand to stand or from stand locations not approved by the hunt manager
Hunters must have a BACKSTOP
MHS HUNT REGULATIONS
The hunter will hunt a deer on the property a minimum of 5 full days or equivalent, or will harvest at least one female deer.
A hunter will harvest at least one antlerless deer every three years or be dropped from the program
The hunter will develop a running average of antlered buck to antlerless deer accountable every three years, that may not exceed a 1:1 ratio of buck to antlerless deer

The applications will be provided but it is the responsibility of the MHS Hunter to apply for the permits at a designated
hunting store.
