Gaming addiction can cause you to gain excessive amounts of weight because you make playing the game your main priority.

It may also cause you to lose important relationships with others and jeopardize your job.

Some more ways to help a person overcome their addiction would be to show gamers that they are powerless over their addiction and teach them to use computers responsibly.
