It’s time to put away our hats & gloves and head outside for some fun in the sun. When looking for things to do consider the Hamtramck Recreation Department, we offer something for everyone. In spring and summer, we have many offerings for the community from toddlers to seniors. Some outdoor activities include: baseball, soccer, tennis, softball leagues and gardening. For those of you who are not ready to go outside yet, we offer indoor activities as well. It is an 7 week program Monday – Friday from 9AM – 4PM We have three locations: Pulaski Park, Playfair Park, and the Colonial Hamtramck Hous-ing. The children will be involved in activities including swimming, field trips, arts & crafts. We also offer various camps for your children to enjoy. We have many special events which include: Mother Son Bowling Day, Breakfast with the Bunny, the Great Egg Scram-ble, the Back to School Carnival and Movies in the Park every second Friday.
