HULK Fasteners

Fortress Deck was founded to specifically focus on providing new product solutions to service the rapidly increasing demand for attractive and low-maintenance, alternative decking products. With this comes the need to meet unmet demands in the ways of composite deck fastening systems. With the homeowner in mind, design was pushed to create a deck that was free from unsightly fasteners or concerning foot snags. With the deck builder in mind, the motivation was to provide a simple system that reduced unnecessary installation cost and minimized any unexpected deck repair cost. With the pressures to meet the needs of both of these audiences, the HULK Fasteners product line was born. Eliminating the need for pre-drilling, an easy “just-in-case” removal system and an incredibly aesthetically pleasing and safe finished product were all design victories for HULK fasteners.

Infinity DeckingThe product was first developed by Eva-Last of Johannesburg, South Africa when the harsh environments of Africa proved to be too much for North American made composite products with a wood fiber core. Infinity Decking is different as a bamboo based and fully capped, co-extruded composite. As is often true in great stories, the inability to find a product that could meet the needs, drove the innovation and creation of a new product that is known today as Infinity Decking. It has exploded in popularity over the past 10 years and become the leading product in Europe. Though it was not previously available in the US or Canada, it is already widely used in over 50 countries around the world.
