Shawn has over 20 years of experience prospecting gold across the Yukon and has been rapidly expanding hisprospecting in Canada’s Newfoundland. A global leader in his field, his prospecting and specialization on advanced soilwork led to the discovery of the millions of gold ounces including the Golden Saddle & Arc, Coffee, and QV goldresources. This success has also been recognized with Shawn winning the 2011 PDAC Prospector of the Year Award,2010 Spud Huestis Award and the 1998 Yukon Prospector of the Year Award. Shawn continues to be an activeparticipant with his technical teams, constantly improving efficiencies with his methodological exploration techniques.

Newfoundland: A Rich Mining History

9

Existing infrastructure with competitive power rates, road accessible projects and year-round work programs

Supportive government with strong technical knowledge; data compilation and research

Emerging gold district: Newfoundland known to have a large number of gold occurrences with relatively little modern exploration

Historical producing assets combined with modern exploration; extensive staking underway

Central Newfoundland Gold BeltSignificant gold deposits in Newfoundland are found over a 200 km trend associated with deep-seated regional structures including the Appleton Fault, Dog Bay Line, GRUB Line, and Mt Peyton Linear

A series of faults representing a deep crustal suture known as the Red Indian Line (RIL) marks the northern boundary of the Exploits Subzone.

The Central Newfoundland Gold Belt in the Exploits Subzone has similarities in geology setting and character with both the gold-rich Abitibi greenstone belts in Ontario and Quebec, Canada and the Bendigo-Fosterville deposits in Australia

The Geological Survey of Canada released new insights on gold mineralization in Central Newfoundland

• Emergence of a paleozoicgold district in Central Newfoundland

• Widespread orogenic gold mineralization within and in proximity to crustal-scale faults

• The Central Newfoundland Gold Belt is still in the relatively early stages of exploration

• Shows similarities to significant gold producing districts including the Abitibi in Canada and the Bendigo/Ballarat/Fosterville area in Australia

22

The Central Newfoundland Gold Belt

• Crustal-scale suture/fault zones formed during the closing of the Iapetus Ocean

• Gold mineralization on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean is associated with these deep-seated crustal fault zones

• The faults and related structures acted as conduits for gold-bearing fluids

• C2C’s properties are in a prime location situated between major fault zones

• There is excellent potential for structurally controlled orogenic gold mineralization in the C2C project area

• Five tectonostratigraphic zones make up Newfoundland including the Dunnage Zone

• The Dunnage Zone south of the RIL is known as the Exploits Subzone, and is well-endowed in gold deposits and showings

• The Exploits Subzone contains rocks that were subject to gold mineralizing events
