We wanted to replace them with libraries that were unique to this place, so the iconic water tower in our "skyline," and the rich history of our area inspired these vintage water tower Little Free Libraries. Spotlight on City Staff:

What is your favorite thing about our city?Since I have been here - a little over threeyears - I have been impressed by everyone’ssense of “community” and the vast majoritywork hard to improve the “community”. Withthat sense of ‘community’ everyone from thestaff at the police department, City Hall, theDepartment of Public Works, etc. are all verywelcoming to newcomers, which three yearsago was me. Another thing that isimpressive to me is how everyone in publicservice (EMS, Fire, Police…all departments) allget along and truly work together to servethe area.

I amalso the Law Enforcement InformationNetwork Terminal Agency Coordinator, theFOIA Coordinator, a certified child safety seattechnician & evidence technician. I’ve workedmy entire adult life in the service industry butthis is by far the most rewarding position Ihave ever held. In my free time I enjoyphotography, cycling & traveling with myfamily.
