THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN PLACED UPON APPROVAL OF YOUR
APPLICATION: Subdivision plat to be prepared in accordance with
City of Oxford Subdivision Regulations and submitted to Oxford
Planning Commission for approval. Front yard setback is reduced

Dear Sirs:
I am the owner of certain land located at the end of Kennedy Street in the Rivers Hill Area. I would like approval of the Planning Commission to divide this land into two lots adjoining the end of Kennedy Street for construction of two singlefamily houses under the Farmers Home Administration home loan program.
I understand that creation of thes·e two additional lots will make a total of four parcels existing at the end of Kennedy Street, as one lot was previously sold to Hajor Pearson, and I have additional acreage remaining. I have been made aware that creation of these lots would be in violation of the City 1 s
-~" subivision regulations and Zoning Ordinance. However, the. two lots ajoining Kennedy Street will be laid out as to have frontage on Kennedy Street, thereby providing access to that street. I further understand that in the event I am allowed to sell these two lots, the City of Oxford will be under no obligation --Whatsoever·~ to install or maintain any type of road or street in front of these lots. I also understand that no building permits will be issued for the lot sold to Major Pearson or my remaining acreage and I agree not to sell any additional lots without complying with the City's subdivision regulations and Zoning Ordinance.
For you information, a drawing is attached hereto showing the lands involved.

Dear Hal:
The zoning problems with the Clarine B. Ivy lot in the Rivers Hill area has been cleared up by the warranty deed issued to Ms .Ivy by Elijah Pegues and wife on March 29, 1983. A permit has been issued to Lafayette Construction Company for the house to be built on this lot.
However,-while reviewing the new description of the Ivy lot, I noticed that the Ivy lot again overlaps on the adjoining property by four feet on the east side of the Gibson lot, and by five and one-half feet on the south side of the Gibson lot. This overlap actually gives the Ivy lot only five feet of frontage on the existing street, when it was intended to give Ms Ivy ten feet on the street. This problem is of no concern to the City in regard to issuance of the permit, but I felt that you should be made aware of the problem.
If I can be of further assistance in this matter, please let me know.
