  • 4Grounding

Any CPE ODU must be installed with proper grounding Any CPE installation must have proper earth grounding at

customer home premises, so IDU relays on good grounding from electrical company

The AC should be tested and approved by our customer Avoid floating ground

For more detailed information please refer to the CPE installation manual - chapter 5

  • 7Mounting kits

Pole mounting kit is provided with the unit The two pairs of threaded holes on the back of

the unit are enabling vertical and horizontal polarization

Use the washer then lock the nut Optional Tilt Mounting kit is available

    Provides 15tilt range

    Ver. 09-04-15

Provides 15tilt range Attached to the ODU and then to a pole

  • 8ODU Polarization

    Vertical Polarization

For vertical polarization install the unit with Polarization arrow pointing UP

For horizontal polarization install the unit with Polarization arrow pointing RIGHT

  • 9Connecting the antenna cable

Connect the right angle N-Type male connector of the coaxial RF cable to the antenna.

Connect the other end of the RF cable to the N-Type connector (marked ) located on the bottom panel of the unit

Fix the antenna cable onto the pole using a cable strip. Use additional cable strips to route the cable

such that water can accumulate on the cable

    Ver. 09-04-15

such that water can accumulate on the cable bends, away from the unit.

When routing the cable, do not exceed the minimum bending radius in the cable specifications.

The RF connectors should be properly sealed to protect against rain and moisture

For more detailed information please refer to the CPE installation manual Chapter 6

  • 10SU IDU-ODU CAT5e Cable

SU IDU-ODU CAT5e Cable Indoor to outdoor Category 5 Ethernet cable with two

shielded RJ-45 connectors is used in order to connect the CPE unit to the outdoor

The length of the Ethernet cable connecting the CPE to the user's equipment, together with the length of the Indoor-to-Outdoor cable, should not exceed 100
