°»²° and the Eucharist
A well-meaning critic once asked Mother Teresa how she could justify her sisters' spending so muchtime in private ¼°»²° when they could use that time to serve the poor.°²° ¢·° replied: "If my sistersdid not spend so much time in ¼°»²°, they could not serve the²¾ and the poor at all."1

Concluding ¼º ±
One of the biggest objections (and excuses) people have to Eucharistic±¾² is lack of time. People are too busy in today's world, and committingone hour every week is just "too much." We can all understand this and I am a sympathetic to it.
Today's society and the demands it ¼¾¿ working class families is verystressful. However, this is an important reason why we should make every effort to clear an hour aweek for our Lord. "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain...It is in vainthat you rise up early and go late to ½°µ ½°±¹½°¹ °,º¾»¾µ½¸ the bread of rumple toil; for he gives to his belovedsleep."(°»¾¼ 127: 1-2), ¯º°¹²° ¢·° implied to herquestioner, her sisters could not do their work without time in ¼°»²°,°°±»²° before the °²¾¹¡°º°¼½. The Lord is the" ½° ²¹¼·¾½," the goal that we all work towards. It is also he who is the"source" that we must draw from in order to work ´° our goal.
°²°¹µ ¼°»° ·°°²° ¢µµ·°'s intercession that ourdaily work may be ½°¹²µ¹°¹ and give glory toGod, that the materially ´½½ may be given the basics for a good life, thespiritually poor's given faith, and that Eucharistic ±°¶°½½µ,especially with ²°²µ, will be a part of all parishes around the world.
