4 Rex’s message

Look better. Feel better.

Forever | September 2014

A ‘bad hair day’ rarely has anything to do with your hair; it’s all about how you see yourself. Ever had a couple of days when you felt like your belt needed to be let out, and then you weigh yourself and the scale shows that you have actually lost weight? Instantly, the need to let out your belt disappears, and you head for your skinny clothes. You feel invigorated and revitalised, ready to take on the world.

Looking and feeling better is all about confidence. As Henry Ford famously said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right”. If you have the confidence to believe that you can be successful in your business and in accomplishing the goals you’ve set in your life, you will! Being the best version of yourself is a big part of the battle for confidence. Simply put, when you look and feel better, people notice. They notice that you are confident and they will ask you what you are doing differently and want to know more, which will give you a perfect chance to tell them about the products you love and the Forever opportunity.

Our products have always helped people – it’s why we started Forever in 1978. We wanted to help people ‘look better and feel better’. As I learned more about the health benefits of aloe vera, I knew that this plant could really impact those around me by improving their health, brightening their futures and changing their lives in more ways than one. With the introduction of the new Clean 9 and Forever F.I.T. packs, our focus on looking and feeling better is even stronger at Forever.

Thank you for sharing your success stories with us; they inspire us to work harder and find new ways to make our business more effective. Online social networks are a great way to share your success and attract attention to what your Forever business offers. Be mindful that you don’t exaggerate though – the truth is powerful enough! When we hear stories of how our products have helped people, or how our business has given families opportunities they would otherwise never have had, it renews my confidence in this business, and the work that we do every day. This wouldn’t be possible without each one of you. Thank you for your hard work, your dedication and for having the confidence to reach for your dreams.

Looking better and feeling better is not just about how others see you – it’s much more powerful than that. Feeling good about yourself is an inner force that drives you to achieve more.

Freedom to step backMy working background is in early years education. I obtained a BA Hons degree in Childhood Studies at Warwick University and worked in the children and young people sectors.

When I was 24 years old, my sister and I set up our own business by developing an old derelict school house and turning it into a 52-place day nursery. I have continued to manage an established team of staff and run the day nursery since we opened.

I first found out about Forever when my husband’s cousin, Angela Loughran, introduced me to the Clean 9 programme, which I completed and lost 9lbs. Achieving this just before travelling to Barcelona for my friend’s hen do made me feel great!

"Angela Loughran, introduced me to the Clean 9 programme, which I completed and lost 9lb"For years, we watched Ange achieve many incentives. My husband and I were always eager to learn what she had achieved through Forever – however, we never thought about what the business opportunity could do for us.

With my nursery business well established and my three children in school, I began to have a little more free time on my hands. I had been looking into starting up a new business for a while, and had even looked into franchises. Over the last year, I had also taken an interest in my health and wellbeing and started going to the gym and participating in organised runs. I began to become more interested in what products Forever had to offer for sports and weight management.

In June, Ange contacted my husband and suggested we take a look at the Forever opportunity. My husband didn’t tell me about this at first. Then, on a four-hour car journey to a wedding, he mentioned it and I instantly said I was keen to become involved – I knew from watching Ange that it could work.

Running a day nursery can be quite stressful sometimes, ensuring everything is running smoothly. I hope that working with Forever will allow me to supplement my nursery income, enabling me to employ a manager and take a step back from the day-to-day management of the nursery.

My family and I love to go on holidays, whether it be caravanning in the UK, or trips abroad. I would love to be able to afford a brand new six-berth caravan for my family. I have a passion to travel with my husband and children, visiting many special places and exploring the wonders of the world. I hope Forever will bring me an income that gets me through that tick list. Long-term, I would like to be able to afford to move to a bigger detached house further into the countryside.

Bob’s message6

Stay focussedI hope that you have had an enjoyable time through the summer months, and have taken some time, to recharge the batteries as we head into the busiest part of the year. Many of you will be packing your bags to head for Lake Tahoe and the Eagle Managers' Retreat – it will be an amazing experience for you, a chance to make new friendships and to generate some new ideas. I know many more of you are working towards the qualification for next year’s Eagle event in Cancun, Mexico. Stay focussed and be encouraged by the fact that there are many people attending this year’s event who were just getting started on their Forever journey this time last year. Anything is possible, as long as you start to truly believe in yourself and the opportunity.

Many people spend their lives trying to discover a magic recipe for success. Sadly, most want to change their lives without effort, or without stepping out of their comfort zone.

I’m sure you already know the secret to being a winner: there is no secret. The reality is winners come in all shapes and sizes. But they do all have this in common: they have all achieved their goals by following four natural principles for success:

+ They have a clear goal + They have a definite plan + They have developed personal

confidence + Failure is not an option

The good news is, these qualities exist in all of us – we may just have forgotten how to use them, and they can be revived. When we see a successful person, we tend only to see their success, never their journey. But look a little closer and you will see evidence of the four principles.

Bob ParkerCountry Manager

@bobparkerflpwww.youtube.com/flpukltd

Are you on track with the four principles? If not, take some time, and perhaps guidance, to help develop them further. This is your life – it is your journey. Don’t let fear of failure stop you from achieving your dreams. Your continued individual courage, and successes, make the Forever opportunity more powerful each day. We continue to grow from strength to strength in both the UK and Ireland, with over 50% growth in both markets. Imagine what we can all achieve by year end. I encourage you to get really excited about what’s possible for you with Forever. We appreciate all that you do, and love to see how you are changing lives every day.

Senior Managers // Nicola and Peter Laing

Going pro

I realise now I was treating Forever as a job, not a business, but this all changed last year after watching all of the amazing posts on Facebook from the Global Rally in Hawaii. Everyone was having so much fun and I just loved all of the pictures and excitement. I followed the progress reports daily.

My husband and I had one little boy and were planning another baby. Peter was the breadwinner and I knew I would be relying on him entirely to realise our dream of a fun-filled future if I didn’t pull my finger out. I didn’t think this was fair and wanted to take the pressure off him.So, when the rally qualifiers returned, I got serious. I started contacting five new people every day and qualified for the Professional Networker Pin for the first time. Suddenly the belief in myself started to grow.

The real change came from listening to Eric Worre’s, Go Pro, as it showed me how to hold the business so high that only the really special people were allowed to work with me, on my terms. This impacted on my attitude to training new team members. My new Manager, Steph, joined me after we met at a toddlers’ group and we have had a blast working together. She is amazing and I have learnt as much from her as she has from me – she achieved Manager in just six months. My other Manager, Sarah Matyjasik, is a great friend and a natural leader.

Along the way, I have achieved Eagle Manager and qualified for The Big Event and Earned Incentive. I had our second son, Raylan, in May this year and my income was double what it was when our first son, Jonas, arrived. This is huge

peace of mind for our family. I am truly grateful to my brilliant and motivated team, who have a real passion for Forever. My hubby is delighted as I have offered to put my monthly Earned Incentive money towards paying for his flying lessons. This was a very proud moment for me and a great way to repay him for the support he has given throughout my journey with Forever.

My background is in the food industry and I was looking for a change when I saw an advert for Forever. I liked the products and began by just retailing, before tentatively building a team.

Forever provides its Distributors with professional-looking sales and marketing tools, allowing you to build your business with ease. Included in these sales tools is access to our specialised web platforms. These allow you to set up your own online shop facility, as well as offering many other useful functions, including training, product information and access to information about your downline.

Distributors can currently subscribe to two web platforms: the recently launched FLP360, and our stylishly revamped foreverknowledge.info site. If you’re wondering what the difference is between the two, then look no further.

foreverknowledge.info is a comprehensive online business and training tool that has been developed to support Distributors in creating and maintaining a successful business. All UK Distributors have access to the latest news, events, product and

incentive information for free through the website, and can subscribe for access to additional tools, for just £10 per month.

A whole new lookforeverknowledge.info has had an extensive makeover, and the brand new site will be launched in September. Distributors can expect new and improved user-friendly navigation, with business tools intuitively categorised, making them easy to find.

The website is now fully mobile-enabled and accessible across the range of mobile devices, allowing Distributors to build their business whilst on the go – anytime, anywhere.

Business basics: Forever’s web platforms

foreverknowledge.info

+ Access to an online one-to-one and business presentation so that you can show the business to prospects without having to arrange a face-to-face meeting.

+ Your own personalised recruitment website, retail website and Nutri-Lean website. These allow you to tackle each aspect of your business remotely, by directing prospects to the relevant professional-looking website.

+ Stay in the know about up-and-coming events with Forever’s official calendar. You’ll also have access to the official photo gallery where you can download high-res professional images from Forever’s exclusive events.

+ Want to know what’s happening closer to home? The Area section gives you full listings of the events/incentives taking place in your local area.

+ Send out your own personalised e-magazines, including Aloe Matters, Fit for Life and recruiting magazine, Your Future.

+ An image library where you can download images of Forever’s products – useful for if you are producing your own advertising materials, such as flyers or magazine advertisements.

+ A mobile app so that you can check your case credits daily and stay up-to-date on how your business is growing.

+ Effective search facility that allows you to find information quickly and easily

+ The option to upgrade to a ‘dual subscription’ for an additional £3.50 per month – ideal for a couple in business who would like separate, individual websites.

Some of foreverknowledge.info’s unique features:

Forever | September 2014

The fresh new look of the site reflects Forever’s new branding, with a cleaner, more professional finish. The website has an enhanced consumer-facing front-end area, to direct your customers to, providing them with information about Forever’s products and business opportunity. We know it’s important for prospects to be able to find information online about our company that they can trust. The new foreverknowledge.info site is designed with this in mind, covering everything from how the company was founded, to where we source our aloe, and the values we hold as an ethical organisation.

FLP360 is the new online suite that has everything you need to manage and grow your business, including an extensive personal back office with calendars, reports, contacts, reminders, email and more.

Distributors who subscribe to FLP360 will get a clear, four-generation view of their downline, breaking down the individual Distributor details, and also showing CCs for each team member.

Downline Map

The new Downline Map allows you to visualise and explore exactly what is happening with everyone in your entire downline, across the world. With all of this information at your fingertips, you can manage your prospects, contacts and customers like never before, helping you make sure that nothing ever falls through the cracks.

Website templates

With FLP360’s predesigned website templates and user-friendly editing tool, it’s ever been easier to target your online message and add your own unique spin to your website.

With your new FLP.com websites, not only can you present an incredibly professional face to the online world, you’ll be able to collect leads that will go directly into your FLP360 portal.

September 2014 | Forever

If you are trying to decide whether to subscribe to one or both of the platforms, FLP360 is probably better suited to Distributors who are little more web-savvy and are eager to adapt their website to suit their approach to the business. If you prefer a more user-ready style of webshop, and don’t require the ability to make changes to the layout/style, then foreverknowledge.info might be more suitable. Foreverknowledge.info is centred heavily around information and training and provides a hub of information about the business, products and incentives. FLP360 on the other

hand, provides insight into your own personal business and activity and allows you to communicate with your team. You can give both platforms a try if you wish, and cancel your subscription at any time. You may even find that both are beneficial to your business – it is down to personal choice.

Foreverknowledge.info costs £10 per month to subscribe, with an additional £3.50 for a dual subscription.

FLP360 is £13 a month, or £143 for the year.

June 2014 | Forever

Dean Moore on behalf of Manager, Kelly-Anne Garsia

Sponsor // Lucie Steyn

Thank you Kelly-Anne Garsia is my partner and runs a business through Forever. I’m so proud of her achievements and thought that people would be interested to hear our story.

I am a sports lecturer, teaching further education and higher education courses, but due to mental health issues, I have been off work since March this year. My illness has been very upsetting for everyone around us, and a really challenging time for the family.

Through this difficult time, Kelly has given me unlimited support, while also doing the same for our two lovely children. This sees her being a first-class mum, housewife, carer and partner, as well as juggling her role as an ABA teacher at a special school for individuals with autism. Kelly’s role at the school also involves providing respite for a family, meaning working long hours and some nights. In addition, she spends a lot of time rushing around as a taxi for other members of her family, as she is the only person who drives.

Despite all of this, Kelly remains committed to pushing and sharing her Forever business with others in order to develop a strong team, and work her way through the Marketing Plan. She has also had great help and support from her sister Danielle Garsia, who is her first front line Manager. They work very closely together and have formed a fantastic working relationship where they complement each other and are developing good strong leaders. I often find her working hard on her training late at night, when she should be going to bed. She is always on the phone, contacting new prospects, networking and arranging advertising for her business. She attends promotional events and launch parties and is a regular at the BP at Longbridge Manor.

I think for her to have achieved Manager position is truly outstanding, especially

as she has such a limited amount of time available to work the business. She has even got me on the Vital 5 programme now, to help improve my general health and wellbeing.

We are hoping at the end of September that the income from Forever will cover my wage, while allowing Kelly to go part-time. She would then have the freedom to develop her team further and I could retire and concentrate on improving my health. As returning to teaching is now not a viable option for me, maybe I will sign up with Forever too – who knows what the future could hold?

Kelly is a very special lady to a lot of people. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for everything she has done for me and our family.

Often people who are already excelling in their careers take a look at Forever because they are searching for a way to achieve a better balance between their job and their home life. This was the case for Soaring Manager Julianna Woods, who launched her Forever business after nine years in corporate banking. She joined the bank straight out of school, but having worked her way up through the company, began to feel that the finance industry perhaps wasn’t for her. “It was quite a cutthroat business,” she recalls, “and that’s one of the things I really hated about the corporate world.” When a colleague asked her to take a look at Forever’s business opportunity, after some initial hesitation, she eventually came around to the idea. Fast forward four-and-a-half years and she is now one of Forever UK's top Distributors, featuring regularly in the Top 20 Business-Builders list.

But the years Julianna spent in corporate banking were far from a waste of time, as she is a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. “I believe that everything that I’ve done in my past was setting me up for this opportunity,” she explains. “I became a PA for one of the

managing directors in Lloyds TSB and I learned a lot from him. He was a great mentor and taught me about leadership. I then moved up to a team leader position and that experience helped me to manage different personalities – which is now very useful.” Working in such a competitive environment where people were so driven to succeed also influenced her approach to work. “I always wanted to be successful and I think working in banking really got me in that professional mind-set,” she reflects.

Changing gear

In the initial stages, Julianna treated Forever’s opportunity as more of a hobby, concentrating mainly on the retail side of her business. But, she soon began to realise its true potential and knew that if she was going to generate a real income she needed to move things up a gear.

The Forever business opportunity sees people from many different walks of life and working backgrounds achieve great success.

“Things really changed when I cut the negativity out of my life,” she says. “I started working really closely with Natalie Heeley and she put me in touch with some really great people, like [network marketing mind-set expert] Dave O’Connor, who allowed me to start working on my mind-set and my confidence. Natalie also helped me to structure my business and she really believed in me.”

This saw a new, more confident Julianna achieving phenomenal growth in her business. She then went on to receive Forever’s award for Highest Percentage Growth in 2013. “I just worked the business cycle harder than ever,” she says. “Instead of putting in a couple of hours a week, I probably put in about 70 hours. I decided to put the time in as though I’d invested thousands of pounds, as opposed to just £200.”

Making dreams a reality

When asked how her life has changed since she found Forever, Julianna doesn’t seem to know where to begin. Her income has increased dramatically, but it is the impact Forever has had on her family life that has really hit home. “I don’t even recognise my life anymore,” she says. “My confidence has really grown, but more importantly, I’ve been able to create amazing memories for my family. I’m able to treat them to a holiday every year and I’m so grateful for how I can help other people with the income I’m now earning. It feels really strange to say I’m debt-free and have my dream car and my dream house, it’s crazy. Sometimes I pinch myself! I’m living on the side of a mountain in Pontypool – stuff like that just doesn’t happen to people like me.”

Family continues to have a strong influence on the direction of Julianna’s business as she makes plans for the next 12 months. “I’m getting married next year and we want to start trying for a family straight away. I want to work really hard now so that I can have a great income and can sit back and enjoy that precious time with my children. Another big goal is to be able to build my mum a house on our plot of land next door, so that she can retire, get the equity out of her house and live her dreams too. My family goals are what are most important to my business.”

Christmas14

Forever | September 2014

Business basics:Retailing at ChristmasWe take a look at how direct selling provides the perfect solution for the modern-day Christmas shopper.

According to the Gratterpalm Christmas Retail Review 2013, which looked at spending patterns over the festive period, people bought fewer Christmas gifts last year than they did in 2012. But the review also identified an interesting change in approach to Christmas shopping. Instead of customers buying lots of cheaper gifts, people were more selective about their spending, opting for fewer, higher-quality or higher-value items ‘to ensure a useful and appreciated gift’. This also meant that customer service was more of a priority to shoppers than previous years, ‘helping customers to cut through the clutter and find appropriate gifts quickly and easily'.

Direct selling: a more considered approach to ChristmasThis research seems to suggest that people are investing more time and money in their Christmas shopping, opting for quality over quantity, and appreciating the value of expert advice when making a purchase. This new approach to festive spending lends itself well to Forever’s retailing model. As direct sellers, you are able to give personal, one-to-one customer service that large high street chains simply can’t compete with. And with Forever’s premium range of products offering useful and beneficial gift solutions, the Christmas spending season should not be overlooked as an opportunity to boost the retail side of your business. In order to help you make the most of this crucial time of year, Forever has created a clever new sales tool, specifically for the festive season and winter months.

Promoting our products for winter

Launched at the September Success Express earlier this month, our brand new aloe-inspired gift guide recommends a selection of Forever’s best-loved products as Christmas gifts and winter skincare solutions. Presented in a clean, natural, contemporary format, avoiding festive overkill, this elegantly-designed sales tool combines soft neutral colours and textures, with naturally-inspired imagery – perfectly encapsulating our brand values.

Centred around pampering products that nourish and protect during the cold, harsh months, or help you to look your best for the party season, the products are categorised as either playful, luxurious, invigorating, indulgent or polished. Emphasising the quality and natural benefits of our range, the gift guide is the perfect platform for promoting Forever’s products to Christmas shoppers, and into the new year. We’ll also be launching some exciting competitions and promotions to coincide with the release of the guide, so watch this space.

Get ready for the festive season and purchase your gift guides today, at just £3 for a pack of 10. Code 9619. Available via the order line, product centres and foreverliving.com.

Animations can be shared via social media to help you promote the products.

Find full instructions on how to do this by visiting foreverknowledge.info and clicking on

Drawn to success

Assistant Manager // Jay Swift

Sponsor // Angela Loughran

15Recognition

Colin and I had been very blessed with the arrival of Holly, as we had been on a very difficult journey with my health, resulting in IVF, and this just made the thought of leaving Holly to return to work even more stressful as we had worked so hard to finally have her in our arms.

It was one day in January that I was browsing Facebook, when I came across a post from Angela Loughran. I had known Angela since school, and was really intrigued as to what her business was all about. I was really drawn to all her posts from then on, as they were always so positive. I was also drawn to her success, so I decided to get in touch and find out more.

"I fell in love with the products straightaway and also noticed a massive difference in my own health"

Ange introduced me to products to help with Holly’s skin. I was having a difficult time using the well-known baby products and was told to bath her only once a week, as her skin was drying. This really was not an option with my water baby, and when Ange recommended the aloe wash, I was amazed at the results. I fell in love with the products straight away and also noticed a massive difference in my own health. Drinking the gel had helped reduce the pain I was experiencing from endometriosis. It was then that I started to look into the business opportunity that Ange had told me about. She invited me to a Success Express at Wembley and I snapped up the opportunity. I came away from the day feeling very excited and thought that this could be my opportunity to stay at home with my princess, and to build my business from home. I started to retail to my friends and family and quickly became Assistant Supervisor, and then Supervisor.

Well, the dreaded September came round, and I returned to my work. I was an account manager working for a very well-known logistics company. This involved a lot of time on the road visiting clients, and long hours on the laptop. I had very much enjoyed my corporate job before the arrival of Holly, but now this was so different. I resented so much the time I was missing out on with her. After a very difficult few months with my health and the job, I decided to hand in my notice. Now I could concentrate on the

fantastic opportunity I had with Forever, and the amazing business model that was right in front of me.

I sponsored a fantastic lady called Emma who I had met through baby group, and loved her enthusiasm and work ethic straight away. Emma has not only built a fantastic team around her, she has also been a massive support to me, and has become a great friend. Next, I started to concentrate on recruiting, and this is when my team began to grow. I have some incredible people in my team now, all from different backgrounds. I am so proud of them and very excited about supporting them in their businesses. I attended the July Success Express with some of the team and this is when I thought, “I’m going to do this and build better security for my family.” I became Assistant Manager in July and now I’m working with my team to get to Manager, and to get them the promotions they so deserve.

"this is my opportunity to stay at home with my princess and build my business from home."

I came across Forever back in January 2013. I had just given birth to my beautiful daughter Holly and I was on maternity leave, not due to return to work until the following September. Even so, I was still feeling anxious about it.

Literature updateForever is currently in the process of updating literature items to adhere to compliance regulations and to ensure brand consistency.

The range is a vast one, and it will take time to update and reprint each piece. In the meantime, certain literature items will not be available via the Order Line, Product Centres and online, but will instead be made available via the Forever webstore: http://forever.webstore.uk.com/.

These pieces include: Top 10 reasons to drink aloe, Active for life, Animals and aloe, Aloe vera the natural choice and Supplement your health. We appreciate your support and patience in this matter and look forwarding to providing you with new and up-to-date material.

New system for emailing applications and ordersDue to improved security measures, from 1 October 2014, Forever asks that Distributors send scanned applications and emailed orders via DropitTo – a secure online storage facility which protects all payment and personal information within documents.

Orders and applications sent via email to Distributor Support will still be processed, but are sent at your own risk. Forever no longer endorses this method of sending this type of data.

How to use the facility:

+ To access DropitTo, please visit www.foreverapps.co.uk

+ Enter the password “aloe”. You will then be asked to browse and select a file (the scanned application form or order).

+ After clicking upload, a message will tell you after a few seconds if the file has been successfully uploaded.

+ Distributor Support will securely access your information for prompt processing.

Important: Please ensure you rename the scanned document to the 12-digit number that is at the top of the application form. Failure to do so may result in the application being removed before it has been processed.

For more information please contact Distributor Support on 01926 626629.
