PURPOSE-BUILT LICENCED FACILITY

Provita Eurotech Ltd is a privately owned company engaged in development, manufacturing and marketing of natural animal health products. Our 20,000 square feet factory was purpose-built for the manufacture of animal health products and is the only GMP licenced facility for the production of veterinary probiotic medicinal products in Europe. It also registered to current E.U feed legislations (NI/518 – ALPHA) and consequently can uniquely produce both medicinal and feed probiotics as well as other veterinary medicines and nutritionals including pastes, liquids, powders, creams and gels, oral solutions and capsules.

RESEARCH LED PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

The company has extensive Research & Development capability with significant university collaborative projects which have allowed it to develop a range of products specific to cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, horses and small animals. These products all play a role in the maintenance of good health and improving animal performance naturally. The Provita range of products fall into the following categories: medicinal probiotics, feed probiotics, feed supplements, colostrum products, electrolytes, air purifiers and hoof care products, feed additives and mint gels.

CONTINUING INHOUSE DEVELOPMENT

Provita gives a high priority to Research and Development and has an ongoing programme which includes projects to improve existing products in addition to new product development. Highly trained technical staff work on site and in collaboration with specialist advisors and outside laboratories.

DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CONSULTATION

The Research and Development Department conducts surveys and works in conjunction with the marketing team and industry and academic expertise to ensure that the products developed meet with the end user’s requirements. New products are thoroughly tested prior to launching to guarantee quality, efficacy, safety and ease of application to the user.

Production

Our purpose built factory is licensed to exacting medicinal and European feed legislation for the production of animal health products.

STRICT HYGIENE CONDITIONS

All products are manufactured to the highest standard under strict hygienic conditions at Provita’s purpose built modern manufacturing plant. The Provita factory compiles with the exacting requirements of the UK, Irish and European Pharmaceutical Licensing Authorities and EU Feed legislation.

BEST PRACTICE MANUFACTURE

Provita production activities adhere to good manufacturing practice, which ensures that all products are consistently manufactured to their required specifications. Provita has a combination of automated and semi- automated facilities for the manufacture, blending and packaging of liquid products, oils, pastes, creams and powders.

Provita manufacturing capabilities offer a complete turn key process from product development through to manufacture and distribution.

Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance team at Provita ensure that all incoming raw materials and outgoing products meet with the agreed specifications every time.

QUALITY CONTROL ANALYSIS

Provita has an integrated quality control system from raw material intake to finished product batch release, to ensure that all materials always meet agreed specifications. Quality Control analysis is carried out on site, using a fully equipped laboratory to carry out bacteriological and chemical analyses. This is backed up by analyses carried out by independent contract laboratories.

MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY

The Quality Control staff are fully qualified microbiologists, and using Quality Control and production procedures developed at Provita, probiotics with guaranteed bacterial activities and extended shelf life are produced. Procedures are constantly under review to ensure maximum efficiency.

Our laboratories and manufacturing process follow best practice guidelines in the production of Animal Health products with our manufacturing facility approved for pharmaceuticals and feeds.

Our Products

Our range extends to provide our customers a unique resource of products to assist in the prevention and treatment of ailments that are both beneficial to animal welfare and increased productivity.

PROTECT

An oral supplement providing high-level multi-strain probiotic bacteria to prevent diarrhoea in newborn calves. Provita Protect is the only probiotic which is medicinally licensed for the prevention of calf scour. It has been clinically proven to reduce calf scour by 83%. To obtain this Veterinary Licence, it has undergone many years of rigorous testing to guarantee safety, efficacy and quality.

HOOFSURE ENDURANCE

Provita Hoofsure Endurance is a unique scientifically formulated footbath solution containing organic acids, tea-tree oil and wetting agents. It works after 24 hours in soiled footbaths and is biodegradable. Its highly concentrated formula means it can be used up to 500 cows passes in a 200 L footbath and only costs approximately £5 per footbath use, based on 125 cow herd.

HOOFSURE COMBAT

Provita Hoofsure Combat is a unique film-forming spray containing tea-tree oil and organic acid providing persistent longer-lasting activity. Combat should be used for spot spraying in parlour or during hoof trimming. Its waterproof, breathable film promotes natural healing.

RESPONSE CAPSULE

Provita Response Capsules are an orally administered capsule which provides colostrum, probiotic bacteria, active proteins and vitamins to prevent digestive upsets. When administered within the first six hours of birth, the colostrum supplies a wide range of active proteins which can be absorbed into the blood stream.

COLOSTRUM

Provita Lamb Colostrum is an alternative to natural colostrum for newborn lambs. It contains natural EU sourced dried colostrum and a high level of active egg powder proteins which help protect the newborn lamb. It also helps lambs by providing a readily available supply of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals and vitamins.
