Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc.

Please consider taking a “rice bowl”. CRS Rice Bowl is the Lenten pro-gram of Catholic Relief Services, the official relief and development agen-cy of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Through CRS Rice Bowl, faith communities in every diocese throughout the Unit-ed States put heir faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiv-ing. Lenten alms donated through CRS Rice Bowl support the work of CRS in roughly 45 different coun-tries each year. 25% of all donations to CRS stay in the local diocese, sup-porting hunger and poverty allevia-tion efforts. Is.55:7, J1. 2:13; see Ez. 33:11 “Let the evil man give up his way of life, and the sinful man his thoughts. Let him turn back to the Lord, and the Lord will have mercy on him. Our God is kind and compassionate, always ready to forgive.” Lent is our preparation time for the glory of Easter. Let us begin Lent well with pen-itential practices of your choosing. Suggestion: Why not send a card with a note of support to one of our seminarians, listed below.
