Mr. G. Robert Blakey Select Committee on Assassinations
U.S. House of Representatives 3369 House Office Building, Annex 2
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Mr. Blakey
Enclosed please find a copy of your letter dated October 18, 1978.
I have just received your letter, which means that for nearly two months
your letter was held up some where with the U.S. mail.
In your letter you asked that I call you by phone or write you by letter
regarding the information I have.
In all due respect, Professor Blakly, my family and I feel this is not a
logical and responsible means of communication with you and the House
Assassinations Committee, due to the recent coincidences that have happened
to us. I will now discuss some of these with you so that you can better understand
our reasoning for making this decision.
1. I have been visited by two men who have asked me in a very nice manner
to forget everything I know, and what I have found out, "or else".
Do you know what the statement "or else" means Professor Blakley?
2. I took my car to Midas Muffler Shop to have a new muffler put on.
While the car was on the lift I discovered that the trailing arm
on the rear of my car had bten cut, almost into. If I had driven
the car a little longer, it might have broken. This may have
caused an accident or maybe death.
3. I have been followed by a car. Being objective I guess this man and
woman were unknow friends of mine, who just wanted to show their love
for me by following me around thown.
4. My home has been broken into twice in which only my files etc. on
the assassinations where taken.
5. Last but not least my home caught on fire, and I lost everything I
had.
Mr. G. Robert Blakey 2 December 6, 1978
So as you can see Mr. Blakley, although these are coincidences that have
happened since my first letter to you, they are coincidences that my
family and I must deal with.
Mr. Blakley I am still willing to talk with your committee, but only if I can
do it before your committee. I will not discuss this matter by mail or phone.
I love my country Mr. Blakley. I also considered it my duty as an American to
talk with your committee. However, I must also protect my family.
I will say this much. There is evidence that there was a conspircy to kill
President Kennedy and Dr. King. With the information I have, if your
committee concludes otherwise, you would have raped the truth.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully yours
;;777

Dear Mr. Marsh:
Thank you so much for the lecture you gave at Winthrop College on October 13, 1977. It was appreciated not only by myself but by all the students who attended. I found your lecture to be very informative, awakening and fascinating. Thank you for your concern of this subject matter. I am sure that if more Americans were as honest and concerned as you, that the government would not have a chance to be corrupt! May God be with you in your investigations and lectures.
I am sorry that I had to leave early and could not stay to say goodbye. I had a big test„ the next morning so I had to get in some last minute cramming. I hope you will forgive me.
Once again, I truly enjoyed the lecture. I was awakened to a lot of facts. Perhaps America will never know what has been happening concerning the deaths of our leaders, but thank you for digging up so many facts and 'haring them with Winthrop College.
Sincerely,
"SCSA.-7.4.7fr
