8.0. 454(E).-ln exercise of the powers conferredby Section5ofthe SeedsAct, 1966(54 of 1966),the CentralGovernment; after consultation with the Central SeedCommittee, being of the opinion that it is necessary andexpedient to regulate the quality of the seeds of thevarieties specified in column (3) oftheTable below ofthekinds specified in the corresponding entries in column (2)ofthe said Table, to be sold for the purpose of agriculture,hereby declares that the said varieties of seeds shall be thenotifiedvarieties for the whole ofindia, for the purpose ofthe said Act, namely :- '
