ACTIONS TOWARDS URBAN MOBILITY IMPROVEMENT IN SÃO PAULO
OVERALL EXPANSION OF THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORT NETWORK
• Implementation of additional 150 km of dedicated bus lanes and 400 km of bike lanes
• Expansion of public transport operations to 24-hours a day
• Connect both airports with the current subway and train network
• Subway network: create 24 new subway stations and expand the existing 74,3 km (2012) to 101,3 km until December 2014
• Train network: create 9 new train stations and expand the existing 260,7 km (2012) to 301,4 km until December 2014
