Each morning, when you log onto class you will see,A slideshow Hachana on the board for you and for me.

You’ll read the Hayom Yom and discuss it too,The main thing – you’ll see what ACTION you can do,

That connects to that day’s thought and to Moshiach as well,And you’ll fill out a form – what did you do? Please tell!

Submit your form, and then you can grin,Because who knows? The raffle you may win!

POEMMussi stared glumly out the kitchen door,

How she wished she could just go to the local ice cream store!

Of course, the ice cream there wasn't Kosher at all,But how much she longed for it, she was hot after a nice

game of ball!Her Mommy came in and saw her sorry face,

She asked, “What’s wrong with our Shlichus place?”Mussi said, “Oh it’s just so not fair!

Why doesn’t our city feel Jewish over here?Our place has Yidden, I know that is true,

But we don’t have any ice cream or pizza stores, that are geared for a Jew!”

POEMHer mommy said, “Why, Mussi dear, you are right,But Kosher stores aren’t what make a place light.It’s the people inside the city – they affect it all,Even if a million Kosher stores we would install.

It would only be a “Jewish place”, indeed,If the people inside the city take the lead.

And are frum Yidden, it is true,It’s not stuff that affect your place, it’s you.

STORYThe Frierdiker Rebbe wrote in his letters about a young man

who never studied in a Yeshivah. He shared a close connected with the Rebbe though. After a short time, people from the place he lived in started seeking a relationship with the Frierdiker Rebbe too.

Why? Because they heard the young man say (remember this is the man who never went to Yeshiva and wasn’t frum!) that the Jewish people have a Rebbe, who is not tied down by nature (meaning a Rebbe who can do miracles) and whoever wants to follow a successful path, shouldn’t do anything without asking the Rebbe.

A person who is sincere leaves a big impression on those around him. I’m sure you all have your stories to share where YOU saw how you left an impression on someone else.
