TIMBERLAND has openings for workersto harvest balsam tips in WashingtonCounty, ME. This is forestry work and ismanuel labor. Cutting of the balsam firtips, workers must cut balsam fir tipsand place them on a pole. The polemust be full of usable tips, the approx.weight of a loaded pole is approx. 40pounds. When the pole is completedthe worker carry the pole approx. 1/8 to1/4 mile and load the pole on a contain-er or trailer. Schedule is 35 hours perweek and hours vary, some weekendwork required and some overtime maybe required. Rate at pay is $2.80 per fullpole of usable Tips Starting date is ap-prox. 10/25/2015 thru 12/09/15. Timber-land guarantees to offer work work forhours equal to at least three forth's ofthe work days in each 6-week period ofthe total employment period.
