Dear Prof. Ogata,

I am about to finish my M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Cairo

University, Egypt, and I am really interested in joining a research group

that explores further optimization of material properties in high

temperature environments and design of failure-resistant

microstructures.

Looking at the papers that came out from your research group,

especially the ones published in AAMS’12 and ITRJ’13, I really enjoyed

and learned about interesting approaches to overcome the challenges in

minimizing the process variation during the manufacturing of the failure-

resistant microstructures. I am really interested to continue the research
