CURRENT S TATUS OF PL ANNING

We are not standing still and can’t wait to finally be able to do again what we love most: to organise trade fairs for you! With a healthy mix of confidence and realism, we can‘t wait to see you again in Munich from 31 August - 2 September 2021.

Using the example of our FABRIC DAYS successfully realised in September 2020, we will of course organise the upcoming MUNICH FABRIC START under extensive measures - because the focus for us is always on the safety and health of all visitors and participants. With this trade fair planning, we are pursuing the goal of answering the wishes and market needs for physical events together with the textile industry.

At MUNICH FABRIC START in September 2021, our goal is to present the well-known international premium portfolio of MUNICH FABRIC START again: Fabrics, Additionals, Bluezone, Keyhouse, Design Studios, Sourcing, ReSource and Sustainable Innovations.

We can hardly wait to finally be able to do what we love again: to organise trade fairs for you. We are very excited to see you again in Munich from 31/08 – 02/09/2021.

With the example of FABRIC DAYS, which were successfully implemented in September 2020, the upcoming MUNICH FABRIC START will of course be implemented in a Covid-19 compliant manner – we literally turned every stone, because the focus for us is always on the safety and health of all visitors, exhibitors and contributors.

We have developed our extensive hygiene concept on the following pages with specialist staff and in close cooperation with Messe München. We have dealt critically with the official requirements, which of course we meet, and even go a few steps further.

WE ARE MAKING THE INDUS TRY REUNION HAPPEN!

2.3 ME ASURES TAKEN BY THE E XHIBITORS

Only together with our long-term partners and exhibitors can we as the organisers realise a trade fair despite Covid-19. The exhibitors at MUNICH FABRIC START from 31 August - 2 September 2021 are therefore implementing the following measures:

Minimum distance: Exhibitors ensure that their employees, colleagues and visitors can maintain the required distance rule of 1.5m at their stand at all times and that the general distancing rules at their stand area is followed.

Mouth and nose cover: Exhibitors check the obligation to wear a FFP2 mouth and nose cover of all employees, colleagues and visitors at their stand area.

Stand catering: Please inform yourself about possibilities and currently applicable measures directly at Messe Munich under the following link: https://messe-muenchen.de/en/company/responsibilities-csr/security/

Hand hygiene: Exhibitors provide hand disinfectants for people present within their stand areas. Shaking hands and body contact is avoided and regular hand washing and disinfection is ensured.

Work surfaces disinfection: Exhibitors regularly disinfect any work surfaces within their stand areas.

Personal work equipment: Exhibitors ensure that all personal work equipment is reduced to the minimum necessary amount and is only used by the owner.

Information on regulations: Exhibitors ensure that their emplo-yees and colleagues on the stand are informed in advance and on a daily basis during the fair of any possible developments in the hygiene concept measures. Exhibitors adhere to these measures and actively inform visitors and colleagues of the safety precau-tions in case of possible disregard. In addition, an official hygiene contact person must be named for each stand.

These measures will be updated for MUNICH FABRIC START on the basis of the currently applicable rules and regulations and implemented on site. If the infection numbers allow, relaxation of the hygiene measures is possible. We will inform our exhibitors and

visitors about the latest status shortly before MUNICH FABRIC START.

We are very pleased to be able to create a safe and at the same time creative working atmosphere at MUNICH FABRIC START for our international visitors. The hygiene and safety measures affect you as a visitor as follows:

2.1 REGUL ATIONS FOR VISITORS

The “3 Screening Rules” decreed by the federal government apply to the exhibition grounds: Tested/Recovered/Vaccinated. Please have a valid Covid-19 test (see below), a recovered certificate or a vaccination certificate, which is recognised in Germany, ready to hand when you arrive at the show.

Our screening stations are located in front of the entrances to all exhibition halls. Compliance with the “3 Screening Rules” will be checked by trained staff there on each day of the fair.

On the entire exhibition grounds, visitors are required to wear an FFP2 mouth and nose cover, which we will have available for you free of charge if required.

2. SAFET Y & HYGIENE CONCEPT

Country entry and exit: Please inform yourself proactively on the official homepages about travel and safety information for your country to and from Germany. Please find official information and exception rules about the entry of trade show visitors under this link: https://www.auma.de/en/exhibit/legal-matters/entry-requirements

Validity of the “3 Screening Rules” certificates: The staff at the screening stations will check the validity of your certificates. Covid-19 antigen tests are valid for 24 hours, PCR tests for 48 hours. Proof of recovery may not be more than 6 months old and must be clearly written in English or German. Vaccination certificates can be presented as a legible printout in German or English or as a barcode in the app, whereby it must be ensured that the vaccine is approved in the EU. Here you can find the list of vaccines approved in Germany: https://www.pei.de/EN/

Rapid test center: We will provide a professional rapid test center in the boiler house on the Zenith site. This should be viewed as a last resort solution in the emergency event that you cannot provide evidence of the “3 Screening Rules”.

You should be prepared for long waiting times here. The test centers will be open all day and will be free of cost, 24 hour rapid tests, the results of which will be sent by email after a short waiting period (around 15min). There is no possibility of performing PCR tests on the exhibition grounds.

Status and day wristbands: After the check at the screening stations, you will receive a coloured wristband that allows you access to the exhibition grounds. If you fall into the “Tested” category, you will need a new wristband for each day of the show after you have provided your valid test certificate. Vaccinated and recovered people receive a wristband that allows them access to the site on all three days of the trade show.

eTicket: Please have your eTicket ready for contactless scanning at all times during the trade show. This enables us to ensure the maximum number of people per exhibition area.

Gastronomy areas: The official requirements for gastronomy including self-registration apply.
