ear friends, I'm happy to invite all fansof technical and cave diving for next

meeting, which I consider as a culminationof actual history. Because of this programas well as opportunity to meet friends aftera while, we are now personally meeting withthe promoters of top world's history of caveand technical diving - such as Bill Stone, orthe present tops - Phill, Brettem, Pascal andso on. Since the first gathering in 1999 atVelké sedlo, techmeetings have been heldevery year and almost all of them wherepositively evaluated by a community ofenthusiasts of technical diving in our coun-tries. Due to close cooperation and friendlyrelationships, it has always been a Czech-Slovak-Polish meeting with guests invitedfrom all over the world. Some of thosemeetings were theme - oriented - RB´s,wrecks, caves.., there was once moderatedpanelling comparing all rebreathes, which

have been available, another time the pro-gram was mixed. This year the program isabsolutely filled with topics from all spheresof technical diving, cave diving, decompres-sion ideology and so on. I hope that thistime everybody will be satisfied and willhave a lot of interesting things to look at.The goals are being set high. I'm personallylooking forward to this meeting.

He has been in a team for deepest rescueoperation of ROV submerged form depth of174m performed by a scuba diver. Pascal carried out extreme explorations inflooded cave systems - like Font Estramarto the depth of 186m and distance 900m.As a deep safety diver on Pipin and AudreyFerreras freediving world records ha hasbeen in the depth of 170m. He also worked as a UW cameraman infamous movie - Oceanmen from Bob Talbot.Pascal is Instructor Trainer at TDI, CMASfor Cave, Wreck, Mixed gas and DIRrebreather CCR diving. He has been as aCo-worker in research of Comex comp.

2001 Donovaly / SKFirst meeting has been hold on Slovak landin Donovaly – Low Tatras in administrationof guys from section of Slovak technicaldivers. Even there was a big amount of pre-sentations and outputs, we have made lotsof dives. Within finding of new technicallocations in our country, few of tens diversdove into cold water of opal cave in Dubnik,into lakes of Štiavnické heights, into caveHlbokô in L. Ján and we dove even in ther-mal water in Heviz/ HU. In our minds therestill have remained first products of P.Kubička, which fight today’s coldness: dryglows and reflex clothing. Direct participantsare cheerfully remembering “social side” ofthis event.

2002 Velké Sedlo / CZAutumn’s meeting date has been set for moresuitable time – winters’ months. Direct mem-bers of rescue operation in Hungarian caveRakoci were talking about logistic and factualdevelopment of this rescue. There was inter-esting talk about Trimix diving on wreck B17on Vis as well as a investigation of Amateurcave and Hranicna abyss in Czech Republic.

2003 Budišov / CZNext meeting due to growing attendance(more than 130) had to be moved back toBudisov. Doctors D. Skoumal and F.Novomesky analyzed physiologic themes withcrux of the problem on decompression. Theytalk about clinic forms, medicine support in ter-rain, as well as morphologic consequences of

decompression. T. Sladek clarified various pro-cedures of deep stops and J. Stetina describeddecompression models and various tech-niques. K. Gregor was gloriously talking aboutwrecks and diving in Scapa Flow and J. Jiraskoabout immersed ships on Balt.

2004 Budišov / CZThis meeting has been profiled by theme, whenmain motive was comparing RB apparatusesoccurring in our countries. As many as 135 par-ticipants saw and touched 7 various diving andsome of terrestrial apparatuses. There werepresented SCR Halcyon RB-80, CCR CISLunar MK 5, SCR Draeger SMS1, CCR BuddyInspiration, CCR KISS and CCR Mentes. J.Kanka together with D. Mrzen talked aboutproject BAT1 – Chru-stenice. Thanks to under-water’s creators visual aspect and rank of tech-meeting increased. We have seen results ofchallenging work of P. Vaverku/ CZ and viewingof splendid films from caves and wreck dives,which were showed by S. Pačko/PL, D. G.Dominik/PL a P. Riedl/CZ

Eric FattahEric graduated from Engineering Physics atthe University of British Columbia in 1999.Always the inventor, he has designed nume-rous products, including a spectrophotome-ter, a diving safety system, fluid goggles andthe F1/X1 diving computers, and has autho-red two US patents. Eric also holds theNorth American depth record in freediving,with 104m in the Constant Weight discipline(2011), and is a former World Record holder(82m in 2001). He has made significant con-tributions to development of freedivingequalisation techniques.
