DARWIN’S BIG IDEA Natural Selection:

More organisms are born than can be supported by the environment.

Organisms compete for resources.Organisms have variation. Those with

variations that are well suited to the environment are more likely to survive and reproduce.

Small differences in each generation can add up to big differences over time.
