WHAT IS REDDIT?!

Reddit is a popular online bulletin board. That compiles popular links.

Reddit was founded in 2005 by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian.

It was acquired by Conde Nast Publications in October 2006, and in

2011 they split and are run by advanced publications.

Reddit has various sections that draw major interest such as

/r/funny, /r/pics and “I Am A”. “I Am A” features celebrities that answer

questions posted by redditors. They have had people from Jimmy

Kimmel, Ron Paul, and Stephen Colbert to Barack Obama.

WHAT’S THERE TO KNOW AB OUT REDDIT?

Reddit is FREE!

Easy signup with NO email required.

Users post links, whether it be articles or pictures and then receive

“karma” which is an up vote based on whether they like the content. • You can also get up votes and down votes for comments.

Reddit.com is just the homepage where all the major up voted links

are shown.• It then breaks down into “sub-reddits”. There’s roughly over 67,000

sub reddits and the list grows every day. Of course some are more active than others.
