1. The e-store where clients anywhere in India can go on the internet and buy equipment.

2. The photo-lab online where customers can upload photos they shoot with their digital cameras and we will make prints and send it to them by courier service.

3. The community area where they can learn more about taking better photos – this will be like a library of information on the internet so they can learn about traveling, taking pictures, having their photos analyzed by experts etc.

• How does PIXETRA CLUB help members take better photographs?

• Photo-enthusiasts love the outdoors, they enjoy trekking, wildlife safaris, bird-watching, star-gazing, nature-watch and such excitement adventures. The club is a platform where they can come-together with like-minded enthusiasts and try out what they always wanted to do. Learning by doing is a very good way to better photography.

Where is PIXETRA CLUB?

• PIXETRA CLUB is located in each city where PIXETRA STORES are located. Also, the club is on the internet at www.pixetra.com/club

• Members can participate in activities in their area and at the club website.

What are PIXETRA CLUB activities?

• We organize meetings in each city – each meeting is different: some might have a slide show where a famous wildlife photographer shows his photos and talks about it. In some meetings we have classes by experienced teachers.

Recently we had Alok Bramhabatt of Better Photography Magazine, Mumbai came and give a lecture/ slide-show for our members.Not long back in Hyderabad and Bangalore top nature photographers Sudhir Shivaram and Amogha Varsha conducted workshops and classes for our members.

What are PIXETRA CLUB activities?

• We arrange outings that offer excellent photography opportunity. So far we have gone on trips to Periyar/ Thekkady in Kerala, River Tern lodge in Bhadra, Karnataka – a trip to Wyanad is being planned next.

• Wildlife experts like Karthikeyan of WWF or Range Forest Officers accompany the members to teach them and show them the natural wonders in the wild.

What are PIXETRA CLUB activities?

• We also conduct photography classes called foto-guru with our in-house photography teacher, Sethuraman. If anybody is interested, they can fill a form online and we will let them know about classes very soon. We also invite teachers from outside to conduct classes.

• Our endeavor will be to explore photography in the area of sports, adventure, animals, plants, landscape, action, family, children, cookery/food and many more

What are club activities on-line?

Right now in the website:

• There is an online form for membership – interested in becoming a member? Just fill the form and click submit!

• If anybody is interested in signing up for foto-guru classes just fill in the online form and we will be contact them once the classes are scheduled.

What are club activities on-line?

• Read about club activities: all our past activities are listed along with photos. Anybody can get an idea about the club just by seeing all the activities that have happened so far.

• We have a page with photos by our members: its called the featured members’ gallery – if a member wants to be featured here they have to send us 25 jpeg files and a short write-up. Our website gets visited each day by 100s of people who are interested in photography. This number is growing everyday. So this is a very good opportunity to showcase photos.

What are club activities on-line?

Our website has recently added new features:

a. Members and guests can participate in discussion forums- if you have a product or travel or astronomy or any such questions you can post a query and members will answer it. Similarly you can go thru the questions other members have posted and if you know the answer, you can reply.This is at www.pixetra.com/forums

Two things make PIXETRA CLUB very unique:

1. There are many photography clubs in most cities but they cater mainly to professional or advanced photographers with large DSLR cameras. Our club members are mostly P&S owners and amateur photographers.

2. Although our club is promoted by a commercial store, it is fully not-for-profit. No money is earned by Tradelinks Ventures or by pixetra store from the club.
