On July 24th, 2013, Google announced its new Android tablet – the new Nexus 7. Coming with the latest Android 4.3 and new Snapdragon chipset, the new Nexus 7 rapidly caught our eyes. We can’t help to caompare it with another Google Android tablet – the Nexus 10. And this article just gives you a brief review of these two tablets.
1. Appearance
As a 10 inch tablet, Nexus 10 is much bigger and heavier than the new Nexus 7. The new narrow bezel makes the new Nexus 7’s display bigger. (The pictures are not the real size)

2. Display & screen
Nexus 10 has a 10 inch, 2500*1600 display. It has the highest resolution of tablets. The new Nexus 7 has a 7 inch, 1920*1080 display. It has the highest ppi.

3. Processing unit
The main improvement of new Nexus 7 it the chipset. It adopt the quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset. The Adreno 320 GPU makes it has better performance than the Mali TS04 which Nexus 10 adopts.

4. Connectivity & network
One defects of Nexus 10 is that it doesn’t have 3G or 4G option. It only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi. The new Nexus 7 adopts dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G & 5G) and 4G LET. In addition, it supports wireless charging.

5. Price
From the table we can see that the new Nexus 7 has more advantages in price. The wireless charging and 4G LTE makes it has more competitiveness.
