Common Mac issues and its remedies

Mac users have to frequently face some issues with their MacBook. Some may be minor issues, which can be fixed by yourself. For that you need to know some things about MacBook issues. Hardware problems cannot be fixed by yourself. Following are some of the commonly seen MacBook issues and its remedies.

This is a common issue most users report. After retyping your password with care at least twice just to ensure you didn’t mistype it, you’ll need to pull out your OS X install disk, insert it into your Mac and restart holding down the C button. After selecting your language of choice, in the menu bar, select Utilities > Reset Password. Follow the directions and there you go.

Forgot your OX Password.

Do not panic and do anything ridiculous like hitting on the system when this happens. Just hold down the eject button for some seconds, restart your system and hold down the primary button on your mouse and during startup the disk should eject.

If nothing happens, turn off your Mac, unplug the power cable, disconnect all peripherals, and wait for sometime. Plug it back in, reconnect the keyboard and mouse, turn it back on, and try the USB ports again. If they’re still not responding, you will need to reset the parameter RAM and nonvolatile RAM.

E-mails are normally sent over the Internet employing TCP port numbers. In an attempt to decrease spam, some ISPs and firewalls are arranged to strictly limit the use of these ports. For some specific internet providers, you'll have to call the technical support number and request for unblocking your port. If you don’t control the Internet access where you are located, contact your email host to see if they have an alternate port that you can send emails.

Cannot send e-mails.

This is another commonly seen issue. A slow Net connection could be caused by any number of things. Try resetting Safari and then try a different Web browser to see if the problem still exists. You may also want to uninstall any Internet plug-ins that you have installed recently. If the problem still exists contact your net provider.
