As a designer who specializes in both commercial and residential projects, Weiling has been working in the field of Interior Architecture for 15 years. She works closely with her clients from programming, concept initializing, to all phases of design development and job supervisions. This clientele includes: individuals, small offices and large corporations; the expression of her design inspiration is a balance between concept and functionality, her deep vision is conceived with space that is contemporary, fluid, and always accentuates the unique characteristics of each client, as well as the site.
Weiling was born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to California in 1988, attended Art Center College of Design and graduated in 1992 with a BS degree in Environmental Design. To further advance her education in design profession, she enrolled at Pratt Institute, New York, graduated with a MS degree in Interior Design , and received her graduation with distinction in 1997.
After earning two degrees , teaching in college, and devoting herself to the competitive design business for the past years in Asia, Weiling has decided to move back to San Francisco bay area in June, 2009. She’s now seeking for a new stage of her career and looking forward to meet and work with people who are willing to share great experiences, pursue challenges and explorations in the work of design.
