My love of interior design…

• “My love of interior design, stems from my fascination with fashion and textiles and my studies in Merchandising in Apparel and Textiles and subsequently studying Interior Design.

• One of the things that has intrigued me and inspires me is how Parisians decorate their homes. Besides the beautiful architecture, the fashion and of course the food in Paris, It’s the mix of old and new, traditional design offset by modern, and always very chic and stylish, just like their fashion sense. Adding that certain je ne sais quoi to a space.

• As a globetrotting designer, influenced by all things beautiful… I take influence from history, travel and reading. My aesthetic is rooted in classicism, but I am always reinventing fresh, modern ways of living and working. I am constantly evolving, but always trying to build on the things I love. ”

As a homeowner, I have personally renovated mine and others’ homes and bring to each project and client a vast knowledge of the home renovation and the construction process. I have an understanding of the purpose and impact of Green Design. Supporting designs that promote and advance sustainable homes, workplaces and communities to enhance the quality of urban life, green technology and green building.

Creating a style that is here to stay…

• Creating a style that is here to stay, Retro revisited is the new name of the game, a look from the past, reincarnated into new contemporary classics. Style siblings to co-exist with your vintage pieces from the past. The clean, simple lines and subtle decorative qualities satisfy our needs for function and form as our living spaces become tighter and our lives become busier.

• Material Mix: Being a design purist is out. Eclectic is in, with the freedom to mix and match old and new. Lacquered vs. polished vs. raw surfaces. It's the use of natural materials in all of their organic forms, the clean simple lines and of course, copious amounts of white.
