Setting The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is push to the brink of extinction on their new planet where they have lived in peace for many years. In the opening of the scene the voice over clarifies what the setting is like.

Throughout the whole cutscene there is a voice actor who has been used to help set the atmosphere by speaking in a cold voice this helps set the atmosphere and I believe they would have used a studio to record this.There is often the use of Foley work with people creating the chainsaw sounds with an actual chainsaw

Mood During the cutscene the mood of the scene is very dark, gloomy and it has a sense of a threatening feeling. Also it gives a sense of blood lust in the air with all the fighting and war sounds. Also there is a woman who voice you can hear throughout the cutscene which is cold this sets the atmosphere.

I believe that during the whole scene there has been editing on the sounds such as the audio and the pitch.

Game genre The game is a action shooter games, since the audio tells us of how humanity is on the brink of extinction and that the soldiers are fighting against the enemy to stop the numbers of humans dropping rapidly.

The voice over has been recorded in a recording studio with a high quality microphone as the quality is top notch

Narrative The voice is explaining how humanity is on the brink of extinction by malicious forces that have been hiding for hundreds of years and finally attacking the human race.

The narrative describes what the situation is and how the human race is dying out and again this is done by the use of high quality microphone and recorded in a recording studio.
