About the designerCurrently I am a student attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division. I havesuccessfully completed two years of the Interior Design Program. At this time, I amtransferring to the Academy of Art University to continue my education for Interior Design aswell as obtain a Bachelor Degree. The AAU Interior Design curriculum will provide moreeducational means for me to expand and excel in my major.Work Experience:During the course of eleven years, I have maintained an Administrative Assistant role forvarious corporations. I have had the pleasure of supporting, VPs, CEOs, COOs, and SalesRepresentatives for several industries such as healthcare, financial, and laboratorycorporations.Education:For many years I did not know what I wanted to pursue as a major. In high school, I enjoyedand excelled in Architecture, Woodworking, etc. courses but did not do very well in SATs andthought that I would not be able to succeed in college. Years later, I attended communitycollege to pursue a degree within the Architecture Engineering field in hopes to transfer to afour-year institution. I succeeded in doing so but I was unhappy with the Engineering portion. After the recession in 2009, I decided to return to college but undecided of what major to pursue. An online personalitytest rated Interior Design and Architecture as the top two preferences for me. After researching colleges that couldaccommodate my scheduled (full-time employment, family, etc.), I enrolled in AiO where I have been attending since.Employment Timeline Dates: Position: Company:Aug 2011 - PresentAdministrative AssistantEmCare, Inc.Jul 2010 - Aug 2011 Sales Assistant Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.Sep 2008 - Jul 2010 Client Service Representative Regus Management, LTD.Dec 2004 - Dec 2006 Records Administrative Asst Clinical Research LaboratoriesMay 2001 - May 2004 Sr. Administrative AssistantAetna, Inc.Education TimelineDates: Major: Institution:Jan 2011 - Present Interior DesignArt Institute of Pittsburgh - Online DivisionSep 2007 - Mar 2008Architecture Engineering Drexel UniversitySep 2004 - May 2007Electronic & Computer EngineeringMiddlesex County CollegeSep 1994 - Jun 1998Architecture Franklin High School 4.
