Brief: Brand a flagship internship program as an exciting learning experience for tech savvy students interested in the film and animation industry.

Approach:Based on the visual concept of digital, the

artwork was treated to evoke the values of

dynamism and experimentation, creating

greater draw for early adopters (people who

are first to use innovations or services as soon

as they are available).

NUS + MDA SHAPE PROGRAM

Brief: Create brand awareness for Global Entrepreneurship Week (a movement to encourage entrepreneurship) at a national level, amongst students and people with budding ideas.

Approach:From the press ad, online banner, poster to program booklet, the concept of “Big Ideas” was highlighted in a coordinated effort to reinforce the message that all it takes for success is one bright idea.

ACTION COMMUNITY FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND NUS ENTERPRISE

Page 6: SuperSonic Portfolio

Brief: Convey the importance of donating to research amongst visitors at the hospital, patients and hospital staff.

Approach:Won over by the conviction of members spearheading the project, we surveyed the interior of SGH to document the colour scheme of the hospital. This led to the final artwork having darker hues for maximum contrast and an unconventional layout which played on the cyclical effect of their concept so that apathetic passersby would stop and take a second look.

NATIONAL CANCER CENTRE

Page 7: SuperSonic Portfolio

Brief: Improve the brand image and provide high calibre graduates the confidence to take up residence in what is often not their first choice PhD program.

Approach:An artistic expression of life as seen through the microscope, the design positions the Department of Medicine as progressive, having a technologically advance infrastructure and able to cultivate the skill set professionals need for the future.

DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE, NUS

Page 8: SuperSonic Portfolio

Brief: Portray NUS Enterprise’s 3 divisions as a cohesive entity and share with stakeholders their achievements.

Approach:Through a coffee table book, we explored the

nuances of their business and identified key

audiences. This enabled us to fully develop

a concept with a strong visual theme and

accompanying copy, to show how NUS

Overseas College, NUS Entrepreneurship

Centre and Industry Liaison Office is strung

together to benefit students, entrepreneurs

and researchers.

NUS ENTERPRISE

Brief: Establish the credibility that comes with the firm’s international presence, while communicating their brand idea “Transform your ideas”.

Approach:Through the title “Transforming your ideas, Capitalizing on your assets” and accompanying visualization of that activity, we bring across Transpacific IP’s ability to protect and monetize their client’s ideas. In comparison to the past marketing brochure, information is presented with more appropriate imagery and on a higher quality of paper.

TRANSPACIFIC IP MANAGEMENT

Brief: Renowned for professionalism, Rajah and Tann and Virtual HR partnered to organize a knowledge networking seminar on HR in the social media age. Targeted at CEOs and HR directors, an edm was needed for a list of selected guest.

Approach:Aligned with the theme, we developed a visual that quickly communicated the gist of the event for their time sensitive audience. Based on client feedback, we found out that there were no rejections; replies to the event came in on the same day, and for recipients out of town they replied in 2 days.

“BOARDROOM COURTROOM”

Brief: Develop a brand identity and corporate collaterals for a holding company which deals with law firms and financiers when it carries out its investment activities.

Approach:We gathered the values of the management and after industry research, developed the brand position “Guided by ethics”. In the process of interacting with our client, we realized an organizational culture that was light hearted and delicately expressed this brand personality while maintaining the industry expectation of professionalism.

The arc and star are visual symbols of a firm anchored in principle while the unicorn represents gaiety.

Singapore’s top HR outsourcing firm engaged SuperSonic to provide brand management. This consisted of a rebranding exercise, development of a brand guideline and new marketing collaterals, as well as day to day brand stewardship to ensure the integrity of its brand is maintained.

The following pictures are taken from a networking event held at the tower club for CEOs and HR Directors, on the topic of social media and HR policies.

“I must say SuperSonic did a great job designing the poster for our donor programme. The entire team here likes it a lot, as unlike the previous posters we have, this one has a voice to it. We were not only impressed with their creative abilities, but also their patience with our requests and professionalism from start till the end. It has truly been a great experience working with the team. Big thanks to SuperSonic!”

“In my dealings with Nigel, he was willing to go the extra mile to meet our requirements. This was therefore helpful when developing the concept of the year book, patiently understanding the changes while providing new design insights and recommendations. Nigel was not afraid to try new ideas which resulted in a design that was well received by the intended audience.

He was also able to follow through on the deadlines which therefore culminated in being able to meet our aggressive delivery date. I’m confident that Nigel would be able to provide good service to his customers.”
