• Each metre is a piece of nature and as unique as natural rock formation!


Product: Stoneplex Sand

• Stoneplex Sand comes from selected sandstone quarries in the world.


• Before we can start the excavation of Stoneplex Sand we need to find the according sandstone quarries.


• Not all sandstone sources can be used depending on the infrastructure, logistics, clima, etc.


• In the middle of nowhere is manual labour the only chance to check the quality of the available sandstone.


• The stone quality, the productivity of the quarry, the infrastructure and the labour are not the only important preconditions to excavate Stoneplex Sand.


• Interesting textures can‘t be used because of….


high ground water level and weather conditions.


• The sediment must be about 500,000 years young.

• Normal sandstone is between 150 and 250 Million years old.



• After the preliminary work the excavation begins.


• The walls must be prepared accordingly.



• The primed surfaces will be treated with a special adhesive. Later on will be a cotton mash placed into the fresh adhesive.


• After a certain drying period the whole mash including a thin layer of sandstone will be pulled off by manual labour.


• After the basic works of excavation the edges of the web are getting trimmed and the surface get treated with a special primer.

• Each metre is a piece of nature and as unique as natural rock formation!


• Only trained and authorized staff should install Stonplex Sand.
