Taking something old and making it new again.SEW-ECO receives gently used, but clean clothing and redesigns it into a totally new garment.1980’s sweater set: A sweater set (top left, notice the ENORMOUS shoulder pads!) from the 1980’s , is brought back to life for 2008. This silk and mohair sweater was dyed and then cut into the new style shown on model. Clients are thrilled to see that their garments can become something new again.
1980’s royal blue satin embossed coat, becomes a Sex in the City faux fur trimmed vest and purse. I think Sara J. has this one on hold.
Purse has gold toned leather straps recycle from another product not pictured here.
Faux fur comes from the fabric library at Sew-Eco.
This beautiful Banana Republic skirt becomes a vest with a matching purse. Plaid fabric is 100% wool, accent fabric is denim.
Vest has ruffle accent down front with full denim back. Purse has pull string closure with ruffle accent at top. Vest can be worn open or hooked closed at center front.
Denim fabric came from a donated pair of Old Navy jeans.

• Designed and sourced knits and woven’s . Traveled to manufacturing plants to see thru manufacturing.

• Designed and presented uniform programs for companies like Alamo, Coca Cola, Service Master among many others.
