Robert’s background is in digital media, strategic communications and business development consultancy. In 2004 he founded Sea with a strong vision to create a socially minded creative agency that delivers a positive impact on society.

A certified environmental business consultant, Robert is particularly interested in exploring how design can help business and communities to be more sustainable. Most recently, he facilitated the scoping of a transformative programme of work between BT Global Services and Cornwall Council. He has also been researching and developing radical new ideas for transformation of public services in areas such as health, employment and skills.

Kathryn is owner and co-director of Sea. She has 16 years experience in marketing, account direction, creative direction and service design. She is a design ambassador for the Design Council and has led a number of innovative projects spanning education, place regeneration, community health, adult social care and business enterprise. Kathryn is particularly interested in how technology can be used as a tool to improve people’s health and wellbeing.

Tracey provides business development mentorship and strategic direction to Sea.

Tracey has a proven executive management track record and over 20 years of experience driving business development. Prior to joining the team at Sea, Tracey established the UK’s first dedicated Rescue Training Centre at a unique training base on the North Coast of Cornwall. Today the site is a multifaceted tourism, training and events business.

During the early 1990’s Tracey led a number of England’s first Rural Tourism Development initiatives based in West Cornwall. Specializing in sustainable, economic growth and working with those communities suffering from a decline in farming, fishing and tourism, Tracey facilitated projects from concept to delivery gaining an invaluable insight working alongside European funding streams and associated agencies. Tracey has worked extensively in economically and socially deprived communities across England, Ireland, Europe and North America.

Harriet is Design Operations Manager Sea. She graduated in 2012 with a degree in 3D Design from Falmouth University, where she focused on co-designing consumer health products and services.

Harriet keeps us all in check; making sure everything is on schedule, on budget and our quality assurance processes are being maintained across all our design work. She also manages projects with key clients such as BT Cornwall.

Mike leads our design team and plays a pivotal role in bringing ideas to life through user-centered design and visual communications. His skills are broad and include: creative direction, graphic design, brand development, user experience prototyping, web design and project management.

The use and implementation of digital technologies is a key part of Mike’s role. He spearheads our development of community oriented online platforms, with a continued focus on the creation of people-driven solutions that present complex information simply.

Phil is a Service Design Producer at Sea. He has a first class degree in 3D Design from Falmouth University, where he focused primarily on solving problems within the medical field using a user-centred design approach.

Since then he has led a number of service design projects including the development of a web application that enables people to learn more about how the environment they live in effects their health. Phil also managed the delivery of ‘Dementia Connections’ - an online prototype for NHS Kernow designed to provide information about Dementia friendly services and support in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. His skills include: design research, service design in health and for older people, community engagement and project management.
