This cute bunny also comes with a cute nose! Stick down very tiny details using a small dab of silicone glue. Apply it with a cocktail stick to keep things tidy!
To make sure smaller découpage pieces (such as the dogs paws in this card) stay secure, cut sticky foam pads in half so they’re easy to tuck behind the shapes.

Give your cards even more dimension by gently curving the edges of your découpage pieces. For the hot air balloon card, simply curve the basket piece in your fingers before sticking it down to secure the curved shape.
For very fiddly layers of découpage, try using Pinflair* glue, which can be applied with a cocktail stick or pin in tiny amounts, and dries completely clear.
tip
Give your layered cards a shabby-chic feel with some distressed edges. Use the edge of a scissor blade or a special distressing tool to get this trendy effect.
This card is the ideal way to say ‘happy birthday’ to someone who adores sparkle! Add touches of glitter glue to the small details in the design, like the bee’s wings and flower centres in this card.
Posting your handmade dimensional cards? Treat them to a proper card box so they don’t get squashed! You can find boxes in lots of different sizes online at Craft Creations*.

Make a birthday card extra-special by embellishing it with a posy of paper flowers guaranteed to last longer than the real thing! This is a really pretty way to frame a design.
Don’t forget, your découpage kit can be used for more than cards! Create a pretty panel of patterned papers and add your favourite embellishments, then use it to dress up a plain white gift bag.
When cutting out your shapes, don’t worry about cutting around fiddly details such as whiskers or ribbons. It will look neater to cut a smooth general outline around these bits.

Always wanted to colouryour stamped designs with gorgeously smooth tones? Well, now it’s easy! Chameleon Color Tones Pens are alcohol markers with a difference – each pen produces a range of tones, thanks to a clever ‘mixing chamber’ built right into the pen.
Each pen has a soft brush nib and a precision bullet nib that can be used for colouring in the usual way. But when you’re ready to create
different tonal effects, simply press your chosen nib under and into the mixing chamber to infuse with the special toning medium. Now the colour from the nib will start pale and get gradually darker as you colour, giving a smooth, even blended look.
Chameleon Pens are available to buy as a complete set of 22 (£89.99) or a starter set of five (£24.99). Order yours now at Create & Craft*!
Swoon! Dovecraft’s latest Sweet Paris collection is a heavenly mix of vintage-effect maps, greetings and flowers, all inspired by the most romantic city on Earth. The range includes this 12x12in Designer Paper Pack (£6.99), Accordion Stickers (£2.49) and Stick Pins (£1.99) and Buttons (£1.99). Use to create gorgeous cards, all from Trimcraft stockists*.

In 2011 I was asked to make a card fora friend’s grandfather’s 100th birthday. It took me a very long time to figureout a design but one day it just came tome – a suitcase of memories! I made analbum filled with things that happenedin 1911 and added photos of his child, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. My make was very appreciated by my friend’sgrandfather. His vision became weak, butalmost every day he took the suitcase andalbum and ‘looked’ at them with his hands.Kaisa Blank Nordmark, SwedenWhat a lovely 100th birthday idea, Kaisa!
The power of the internet is amazing! It hasenabled me to get in touch with an old schoolfriend. She left school in 1960, but we haven’tseen each other or been in touch for 54 years. We’ve had lots of email conversations recently, catching up on our lives since those days longago. Using the templates on page 78, draw thetwo bird shapes on the back of two patternedpapers. Drawing on the back means youwon’t have messy marks on the front!
1
Carefully cut out the bird shapes. You can usea small pair of embroidery scissors or a craftknife and mat if you prefer. For tricky corners, turn the paper rather than the scissors.
2
Cut a square of white card and stitch aroundthe edge with white thread. If you don’t havea sewing machine, use a paper piercing toolthen stitch with a needle and thread.
3Add one small black adhesive pearl to eachbird shape for the eyes. You can simply drawon the eyes with a black fineliner pen if youdon’t have black pearls.

Sue CassQ Tell us about all the
cards you made!
A For the blue card, I used background papers from the Papercraft inspirations
Cute Card Collection magazine. I matched the card for the bird cut-outs to colours in the birdhouse banner and the branch was cut from a thin sheet of self-adhesive cedar wood, sold by Lakeland* as drawer liners!
I went ultra-feminine for the card with the pink bird and button flowers, using gorgeous pearlescent paper.
For the ‘Love’ card, I wanted to have the plain card as a foil for the die-cut bird and
lettering. I wasn’t over keen on the finished effect so I used an ink pad to go around the second layer which helped it stand out more.
Q What’s your top tip for this project?
A On one of my cards, the colours were all very similar, so I die-cut a second set of bird shapes in turquoise card and offset them very slightly as I was sticking them down – this gives a great shadow effect.
When I decided to ink the edge of the second layer in the ‘Love’ card, it was already stuck in place on the card background! But I managed to slide a thin strip of paper under the edge to mask the bottom layer, then I was able to ink the edge.
Carol FindonQ Tell us about your
beautiful makes!
A I have made a card and matching tag. I used a Sizzix decorative strip die
for the branches and a Memory Box heart die along the edge of the main card and the inside of the gift tag in the same purple card. I have actually covered my lovebirds with real feathers to add interest and a few paper flowers from my stash to finish off, matching
the two items as closely as possible so they work as a set.
Q What was your favourite part of
making your card and tag?
A Adding real feathers to the birds! It made them seem more dimensional and gave them a bit of interest! The templates were easy to follow and cut out, and I just used a dab of PVA glue to hold the feathers in place.
l covered my lovebirds with real feathers!
Jenny PhinQ Tell us a little about your
mini bird cards!
A I loved Jenny’s simple silhouettes, so I copied the idea using one of my
favourite paper stacks – First Edition’s Bird Song, appropriately enough!
Q What did you enjoy most about this easy
templates project?
A These cards were so quick, I really enjoyed how I could make a whole batch at once. Ideal for New Year thank-you letters.
Q What’s your top tip for this project?
A I printed my templates onto thin card, which made them a bit more sturdy – I’m sure I’ll be able to use the bird shapes for other projects in the future.
l went ultra-feminine for the card with the pink bird and button flowers,
using gorgeous pearlescent paper

Q Tell us a little about your
adorable makes!
A The first card I made wasa simple design using theMoonbeam Meadow papers
and toppers from the CD-ROM. I layered thetoppers with a silver grey card to make themstand out. The other card I made was using oneof the frame cards – they are simple to do andgive the card lots of dimension. I usedcoordinating embellishments from the CD. Itdoesn’t matter how simple or ornate you makethese cards, they always look professional.
Q What was your favourite part of this
Moonbeam Meadow project?
A I loved making the 3D flowers on theCD. They come in various sizes and
colours and all you need is a quilling tool to roll them up and glue gel to stick them together.
Q What’s your favourite top tip?
A When making the frame cards from the CD, print the frame onto Centura Pearl card using the white, cream or the hint of silver or gold. It gives the frame a lovely sheen and helps the card stand out, and all the fold and cut lines are marked. The CD is packed with so much, including great embellishments, that you don’t really need anything else apart from card, scissors and glue.
Share hints & tips with our Papercraft Testers!
Alison WalkerQ Tell us about your card!
A All I added was a couple of my own printed papers, some plain card and ribbon; everything else was from the CD.
Q What was your favourite part of this project?
A I was amazed how three-dimensional the flat printed images could look! As a challenge to myself, I made this card without any sticky foam pads and as a result it only needs a smaller postage stamp.
Q What’s your top tip for this project?
A I printed my images onto paper, then stuck the pieces onto card and cut them out. It’s cheaper than printing onto a whole sheet of card and means you can use smaller pieces from your scrap box.
Lisa HinesQ Tell us about the
card you made!
A I chose to print thecoloured images from the CD. They
are very cute and print beautifully. They’re great if you need a quick card and don’t have a lot of time to colour inimages. The embellishments on the CDare great too, as they match perfectly
and you can add your own bling.
Q What did you enjoy most
about the project?
A I would have to say choosing the
l made this card without any sticky foam pads and as a result it only needs a smaller postage stamp
l layered the toppers with silver grey card to make them stand out
embellishments that work with the image was my favourite part. I love buttons, lace ribbons and gems and sometimes just a few of these goodies can make a card. I didn’t have to hunt for matching buttons as I could just print some off, they worked perfectly and look super-cute!
Q Can you share your top tip for
making these cards?
A I think the printed images work so much better if you layer them up – this frames the images, making them stand out more. I’d also recommend using sticky foam pads to raise the image as it gives it that extra 3D touch.

Dawn Phillips talks about
life as a busy design team
member and demonstrator
How long have you been crafting for?Really for as long as I can remember. I was knitting at about seven years old, making dolls’ clothes, and I always had my head in a colouring book. I come from a crafty family – my mum was brilliant at drawing and painting.
What first got you into card making? I first got into papercraft quite by accident.
I used to do pottery and had my own home studio. I had to move house and there wasn’t room for my kiln so I sold it with the intention of going back to it at some point.
In the meantime I was looking for something else to do when I was asked to make some wedding invitations for a friend.
I did the wedding invites and was instantly bitten by the papercrafting bug. That was over 12 years ago and I’m still at it.
the
Lots of layering or cleanand simple cards – whichdo you prefer? To be honest, I sit in-between. My style is quiteclean but I do love layersand a few embellishments, especially ribbon.
Name your topcrafting secret!I think it has to be to notgive up too soon whencolouring. An extra layeror two of colour reallymakes a difference.
How much time do youspend designing cards?I try to make somethingevery day if I can and mostof the weekend is spentcrafting. But even whenI’m not in my craft roomI’m thinking about differentideas, even in my sleep.
Meet
Who do you work for at the moment?I have a full time non-crafty job. I do most of my crafty work for the fabulous Lili of The Valley. I’ve always loved their products so I was thrilled to join their design team. Since then, I’ve appeared on Create and Craft TV and I run their in-house workshops, which I love. I also work for The Ribbon Girl.
Where do you work? I work from home.I’ve recently refurbished my craft room and it’s much better – a lot more organised now, not to mention a lot tidier! I love working from home, especially in winter when I don’t have to scrape ice off of my windscreen first thing in the morning.
Are you making a Valentine’s card this year?I’m going to try but if I don’t, I’ve got a very understanding partner who usually forgets anyway, bless him!
Any favourite new craft products at the moment? I think this has to be digi dies. The new machines are brilliant and so versatile, and really easy to use. I’ve been using a Brother Scan N Cut for a few months now and I love it.
The most unusual card you’ve ever made? This was for a lady at work to give to a friend for his birthday. He was a huge tennis fan so I made a little tennis court pop-up card, complete with lots of tennis facts relating to the year of his birth.
What type of cards you do see yourself making over the coming year?I tend to make a lot of general cards suitable for many occasions, and they’ll probably be pretty and girly with lots of glitter and ribbon. I’m sure there’ll be a digi die or two involved in some way too!

How to…craft a romantic Parisian scene
1Cover a portrait card with the Eiffel Tower paper, leaving a 5mm border all around. Next, add polka dot faux-ribbon strips and a heart topper using double-sided tape.
2Cut out the ‘Love’ and ‘Happy Memories’ sentiment toppers and attach them using a few sticky foam pads, positioning them over the polka dot strips, as shown.
3Use Glossy Accents to add a little shine to the Eiffel Tower, ‘Love’ and heart embellishments, and to the polka dots on the ribbon strips. Leave until completely clear and dry.

Gail NorrisQ Tell us about your
colourful card!
A I don’t like things that are too fussy, so my cards tend to consist of clean
lines and a very small amount of ‘bling’.
Q What did you find most enjoyable about
working on this project?
A I absolutely adore cutting things out and get a great sense of satisfaction from my very accurate cutting skills!
Q What’s your best tip for these cards?
A If you struggle to choose colours, just pick one of the main colours in your printed image and base your card, paper and ribbon choices on that. Remember, it doesn’t have to be pink for a girl and blue for a boy!
Testedfor you Q How did you tackle
making these cards?
A I usually start with an idea and end up with something completely different!
Q What was your favourite part of this cute
baby card project?
A Weaving the ribbon around the frame on the ‘It’s a Boy’ card. Not something I would usually do, but it’s quite effective.
Q Do you have any top tips to share?
A When you print out the image, leave plenty of room around it for die-cutting. You can also try stacking two buttons on top of each other to make an interesting embellishment.
Sally SearsQ Tell us a little about
your adorable cards!
A I like the idea of using lots of these cute images on the one card, and you
can do this if you make the images smaller. I experimented with using the words as the focal point and put the little images all around, and putting all the images across the middle and chopping the letters up across the top. I’ve added lots of layers on most of my cards but you could also keep this project really simple by just mounting the printed images onto foil card. I enjoyed using the greeny card colours as they worked well with the images. The colours really make these cards stand out.
Q What was your favourite aspect of
Dawn and Naomi’s project?
A The best bit about the printables is the colours make it easy to match to any papers – it is nice not to be restricted to pinks and blues. Being able to resize images is always so useful, you can make them fit your ideas. Being printable, you can make as many matching products as you like – tags, gift packaging or even a little mobile/hanging-type card.
Q Share your top tip for baby cards!
A Use your best-quality card and the best settings on your printer (photo quality), as this enhances the colours of the printables. Copy and paste your images into Word and resize and fill a whole page, then you will have a whole selection and range of sizes to work with. Leave enough space between each one if you want to use the white space around the images. Don’t stress if you end up making a bulky card with lots of flowers and bows, as you will probably be going to visit anyway – no pricey postage required!

Zig-zag cardsJulie Kirk shows how easy it is to create theseconcertina cards, which use simple techniquesand offer so many possibilities for embellishing!
Masterclass
Concertina cards are a really interesting way to create dimension and depth,
while still maintaining a familiar card style for your recipients to display.
These fab zig-zag cards have multiple folds and faces, so unlike a regular card, which has just a single front flap to work on, the concertina style gives you a larger area to
decorate using any and all of your favourite papercrafting techniques!
Expert Julie Kirk shares two folding techniques that you can customise in any way you like.
“Fill them up with all the patterned papers, hidden elements, layered embellishments, colour and flair that their extra canvas size offers you,” says Julie!

Turn the card so it’s horizontal, with your marked halfway point on the right side. Line up the halfway mark with the top left-hand corner then cut a straight line between them.
2Divide the card into three by scoring vertical lines at the 9cm and 18cm points (measure along the long edge). After scoring, fold and then crease these lines with a bone folder.
3
Create a simple floral zig-zag cardIf you’ve only ever made the basic, single-fold
style of card, then this zig-zag card is a great place
to begin experimenting. All you have to do is
create one additional fold and you’re there!
The card that has an angle sliced away from the
top edge gives a pretty cascading effect when
the card is folded up. The embellishments used
on each of the three surfaces can then be seen
poking out of the tops and sides, adding to the
overall feeling of creative dimension!
Trim a sheet of kraft card so that it measures 27x18cm. Lightly mark off the halfway point at 9cm with a pencil, measuring along the short edge at the top.

From the patterned paper cut three pieces narrower than the card’s segments and stick on. You’ll need to flip the card over to stick the middle section in place.
5Add flowers and other embellishments so they overlap the sides of each of the three forward-facing sections. This will soften the straight lines of the card.
6Open the card out, and use a scalloped edge punch to punch along the sloping edge. Cut a piece of patterned paper into a similar sloping shape with a scalloped edge.

Make a crossover zig-zag card
Divide the card into four segments by scoring three lines from top to bottom along the sheet, at the 7cm, 14cm and 21cm points. Now repeat steps 1 and 2 to make a second piece of card that’s the same shape.
2Fold and crease along the score lines then lay the card pieces side-by-side, with the tall edges next to one another. Label the cards ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ to help you work out their positions when assembling!
3
This wonderful cross-over cascading card might
look complicated, but you’ll be pleased to hear
it can be made using just three basic crafting
techniques! After some basic measuring, scoring
and cutting you’ll have two halves which, once
slotted together, transform into a criss-cross
structure with many surfaces just begging to be
embellished! Here’s how to create your very own
crossover cascading zig-zag card.
Cut a sheet of A4 card to measure 15x28cm then make a mark halfway up the short edge at the right edge, at 8cm. Line up this mark with the top corner on the opposite side and cut a straight line between them.

Cut, score & fold two shapes, then slot them together to make this amazing card!
To decorate your card’s panels with patterned papers simply follow steps 1 to 3 to cut out two reverse sloping shapes, which you can then cut into 3, but make sure they are slightly smaller all around than your original white panels to leave a margin.

Next take the Right card. This time, carefully cut down from the top sloping edge to the centre point of the first and last score lines with scissors or a craft knife. Again, leave the centre score line intact.
5Assemble the card by crossing over the short front sections, slotting the cut sections together. Slot the back together in the same way. Fold out the central score lines and fold the finished card flat. Now you can decorate!
6Now take the Left card and cut into the first and last score lines, from the base up to the halfway point of both lines. Use scissors or a craft knife and metal ruler. Do not cut into the centre score line.

If, after cutting and folding the two halves, you think you’ve accidentally made the same shape twice (rather than two that work in opposite directions), simply unfold one of them and reverse the direction of the concertina.

QDo you have any tips for using a sewing machine to add stitching to my cards – at the moment I’m a bit
scared to try it on my machine!Pauline Finch, Margate
AJenny says… I love to add sewing to my cards, it works well on both contemporary and fancy cards. First of
all don’t be scared, its super-easy to machine sew paper and card. You just need to practise.
It’s best to start on some scrap papers firstto check your machine’s tension. If your tensionis too tight, you will see loops of the bobbin thread coming up through your holes; turn your tension dial to a lower number. If your tension is too loose, you’ll see loose threads on the reverse of your papers, so increase yourtension. You are looking for even stitching on both top and bottom of the paper or card. It’s also a good idea to use the same weight thread on both your bobbin and spool. My advice would be not to sew more than three layers together, as you may break your needle.
I like to add a little dab of glue to hold the layers in place, but not too much or this may gum up your machine. I also like to use Gütermann’s threads, they are high quality, andresist breaking. The Ribbon Girl* sells a great range of colours.
You could try freestyle stitching to start with, which is using a purposely wavy carefreeline. It’s very easy to do, as you’re not followinga neat edge you can make the design very simple. When you start, don’t be afraid to feedthe wheel by hand if you get to a corner or a tricky bit as this gives you more control.
When you stitch frames, start from a point which can be hidden by other embellishmentsor on a corner. When you get to a corner and need to turn, leave the needle down in the paper, lift the machine’s foot and pivot round, then lower the foot and carry on. I use a pin to pull any loose threads through to the back.

Ask the
When creating shaped cards what is the most popular cardstock that people use?
Kelly Lloyd, via Facebook
Sarah says… I would recommend using a smooth non-textured cardstock to get a really crisp, clean finish and no cracks
in your folds. You want it to be heavyweight enough to
support the shape of the card but not so heavy you find it difficult to fold or cut into the shapes you require. I would recommend around 250-300gsm as being the perfect weight.
Some of my favourites to use for making shaped cards are Craftwork Cards’ pearl cardstock and Hunkydory Crafts’ Adorable Scorable card. Craftwork Cards’ Digital Card is also great if you want to stamp and colour directly onto your card base, depending on the side you ink. It gives lovely bright colour and won’t bleed or smudge.
I desperately need some tips how toglue filigree style items, without leavingany glue mess on the card.
Nico Le Roc, via Facebook
Angela says… We’re often asked this question, and there’s a handy tool that will solve all your fiddly gluing problems – the
Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, from Handy Hippo*.This pen has a ballpoint-style tip and the
glue comes out steadily – so you can stick the most intricate of dies down without leaving any residue on your card at all. It’s also great for adding fine details to cards which can be glittered. We love it at Papercraft HQ and it’s an essential part of our everyday crafting kit!

This month’sMaxine has been papercrafting for oversix years now and enjoys die-cutting,découpage and stamping. Here are her topthree tips for crafting diamond-fold cards…
I have been given some dies as gifts from friends, but I don’t have a die-cutting machine! Is
there any way I can use them without a machine – it seems a shame not to be able to make use of them! Claire Cunningham, Staines
Maxine says… There are a number of ways you can use your dies depending on the
shape. Nesting dies can be used as templates to draw round, you can then cut out the shape.
For more detailed shapes you can use misters or inks on them like a stencil – when you remove the die you will have a beautiful design to useon your projects. Ideally, if you can,I would recommend saving up for adie-cutting machine. They’re so useful, you wouldn’t regret it!
2For different looks from your
diamond-fold card, try trimming off
or gluing down different sections
of your card. This card was created using
the same fold as another card, but the
top was cut off at the diamond and then it
was turned on its side.
Maxine Norman
1When creating your folds use
a ruler to help you score any
diagonal lines. The folding can
get quite confusing but this will help
you to match up your score lines much
more easily.
3When covering your card, don’t
waste time measuring out lots
of different triangles. Smaller
ones can be cut from squares cut into
four. For the size, just measure the
length of the triangle and double it
to get your square. The side panels
can be cut from one square that’s
the same size as your centre square.

Create and Craft TVThe team at Create and Craft TV reveal what happens before the cameras start rolling and share how they put together their packed schedule of programmes…
How long has Create and
Craft TV been on the air?
The website and TV Channel
launched in 2003, so we’ve
been going strong for 11 years
now and we’ve no plans to stop!
What prompted Ideal World to
dedicate a channel to crafting?
Ideal World has always sold
craft products, it was a strong
category and the majority of the
shows performed exceptionally
well. The Ideal Shopping Direct
group soon realised the
enormous scale of the UK’s
crafting community. It was at that
point we saw the potential for
a craft shopping channel.
Where does filming take place?
All of the filming takes places at
our TV studios in Peterborough.
We broadcast live 12 hours a day.
In January, we’ll be broadcasting
live from Anaheim in California,
bringing our viewers the latest
action from the CHA show.
How many sets do you use?
In total, we use five different sets,
all different sizes, styles and
shapes! Whilst one of the sets is
in use, the team are usually
preparing one or two sets for the
line-up of shows to come. During
events like Halloween and
Christmas, we enjoy creating
special settings for our viewers.
Your shows run live 12 hours a
day! How do you prepare for such
an intense schedule?
There is a lot of pre-production!
From meetings between the
buyers and production team to
discuss the product line-up,
to directors and producers
prepping with the set dressers
and floor managers to create
sets. The Creative Development
team create ‘treatments’ for new
shows, which involves prepping
the product, talking with the
supplier, creating video footage
and graphics, and then finally
working with the live teams.
How many people are involved in
putting a show together?
Wow, there are a lot of people!
Behind the scenes
Top: Dawn Bibby and Dean Wilson on set; Create and Craft now have a team of nine presenters. Above: The first ever show that appeared on Create and Craft TV was Pinflair, and guest presenter for this show was Christine Bell. Left: Regular presenter Leonie Pujol showcases some of the latest punches on the papercraft market.

The best way might be to tell you
about the route a product takes
from arriving in the building to
arriving with the customer.
The buyer purchases the
product, which is then put
through our Q&A department,
and pitched into the Marketing,
Web, Social and Creative teams.
Information on the product is
documented and created by
Craft Co-ordination. Photography
take imagery of the product, then
Creative Services (directors, edit,
graphic design) film it and also
any promos (adverts). Floor
managers, set dressers, studio
directors, producers, assistant
producers and presenters all then
come together to showcase the
product to you at home.
As a lot of shows are live – is there
any ever time to rehearse?
That would be wonderful, but
unfortunately, we do not have
the time to rehearse. We are
a live channel and that is part of
the excitement… as you well
know – giggle fits, mistakes and
spills do happen!
What is often the most nerve-
wracking part of filming live?
It has to be if there are any
last-minute changes and you
don’t have enough time to prep
as thoroughly as you would like.
The whole team relies on all of
their experience and knowledge
to ensure the show is still as fun
and informative as any other.
How do you prepare for the
on-screen craft demonstrations?
The Creative team is the first
point of contact. They speak with
the guest to discuss what type of
demos would be interesting and
what they wish to achieve with
the demonstration. They plan
through what is achievable in the
hour and then go from there! The
guest prepares the demos at
home or in their office, and then
on the day the show plan is
created around this.
What’s been the biggest mishap
to happen on-screen?
During our Strictly Crafting event,
we had our presenter, Dean, and
guest Pollyanna Pickering
waltzing across the studio during
a link between shows. As Dean
gently twirled Pollyanna off to her
set, she fell into a set prop and
Dean had to cover the rest of the
link with a mixture of terror that
she may have hurt herself and
hilarity as we discovered she had
not. She was a good sport about
the whole thing, and we took
extra good care of her afterwards.
What has been the biggest-selling
product in the channel’s history?
The most successful product on
Create and Craft to date is the
Brother Scan N Cut. This was our
most successful product launch
and its success has continued
to grow. Mel Heaton is our
in-house expert on the Brother
Scan N Cut, she demonstrates
the machine on our shows as
well as attending events and
workshops, where customers can
ask questions and learn tips.
Following this, Create and Craft
customers have expressed their
delight and reviewed the
machine on our website, giving it
an overall rating of 4.4 out of 5!
The second-best seller on Create
and Craft is our very own Tape
Pen. This is a fantastic product
and a must-have for all crafters!

8:57am: First show is over.
There is only a three-minute break between each show – the cameras are rolling live until 8pm. In these three minutes, all of the shows, including sets, are taken down in preparation for the following day’s shows. The teams swap over.

Send a friend a smile this spring with this fun pot of rolled flowers. Simply use different lengths of the rose die to make different sizes of flowers, then arrange in a group peeping out of a kraft card ‘pot’. Embellish the flowers with die-cut leaves and foliage to make them stand out as the card’s focal point.
This sweet card is very effective but super-simple tomake. Layer up a patterned paper background anduse a circular topper to attach your flowers to. Die-cut your flowers from patterned papers to coordinatewith your background. By rolling out the edges of therose petals before wrapping the flower shape youcan accentuate the blooms you create.
Take a basic paper trinket box and wrap it in designer papers to cover it. Top it off with colourful felt flowers – choose ones that will coordinate nicely with the papers. Once the felt flowers have been rolled, roll them flat, then mount them onto some felt leaves, arranged in a group of three, attached to the top of the box lid. Add a handwritten sentiment tag and a gift inside to complete.

Each issue, we’ll bring you anew project to try with yourown craft club! This month, try a simple card using yourfavourite mini stamps…
