Master thesis project.

01 The debate of the project starts from understand-ing an important district of Istanbul, which have significant importance from Byzantine time and used to be a metal industry and later turned as Sishane light manufacturing industry in Ottoman Empire time. In Byzantine and Ottoman empire time sishane district inhabitants used to share common interests and feed each other with their socio-economic, socio-cultural and socio political values. Project is about exploration and analyzing the existing urban situation in terms of social economic activities of existing network of produc-tion and their associated group of craft people in production line process and proposing perfect scenarios of communication, interaction environ-ment as lattice. Stage A is the theoretical research stage, which have been defined through the current situation of Galat as crafts district. In stage B all of these properties of program and their essence have been mapped first as two dimension-al diagrammatic Lattice then as rule based logic re define the organization of production line depen-dency network as a cluster and increase the amount of ateliers in each cluster.

03 For the 40-acre site of the former Bavarian station to be built, an important area between the south and east of Leipzig. For us, it's about the urban space and profiling of the east and west neighbor-hoods between the Bavarian Station and the Rich-ard Lehmannstreet, and the other is the creation of spatial potentials, which runs deep in the south of Leipzig.Site gives us the unique opportunity to tap into urban space in the area between the Bavarian Station and Richard Lehmann Road a large area that is the future for businesses, educational, com-mercial and leisure to develop a high level of attrac-tiveness. This site act as central spine between twozones, residential and commercial with different programmatic concerns. Architectural concerns on the site will not only transform the macro level but it will affect its immediate context in the city.Being centralized situation in the city the site got the real potential to be like an active node. the left side diagram clearly dictates the multiplicity of overlapped events in terms of activities are analyzed. 02 The idea of the urbanism is following the concept of future architecture in 2112 which is based on new conception of space and living style in future as differentreality where boundaries of virtual and physical reality have blended together and letting an argument for a designer to construct and rethink about architectural spatial logic in 2112, living in this environment where People are concerned about creativity of life , accommoda-tion, leisure, economic activities. Multi-layered networks as activity points are being generated and self organized on rules & informa-tion of programmatic concerns. Each individual place attracts certain urban activities(Business or residential), which are simulated by moving agents which turn into swarm behaviors in a 3D urban context. Swarm behaviors develop the possibility of emergence, based on the precise calculation of agents and densities of places. The dynamic gener-ation of the multi-layered networks reflect the stigmergic logic of the city growth , as rules have extracted from future programmatic concerns of activities.

F I B R O U S MORPHOLOGIES Swarm Agents | Fibrous rules.Swarm agents defines fibrous morphologies.

06 A swarm an be viewed as a group of agents cooper-ating with certain behavioural pattern to achieve some goal. There are a number of different models of swarm intelligence that have been proposed and investigated, and among the most commonly used swarm intelligence models include ant colony opti-mization, particle swarm optimization and honey bee swarming etc. Modelling of the collective behaviours of simple agents inter-acting locally among themselves, and the environ-ment which leads to the emergence of a coherent functional global patterns. From the computation point of view, swarm intelligence models are com-puting algorithims that are useful for undertaking distributed optimization problems. Swarm logic presents the idea of Agents and their defined movement with an idea of separation, cohesion and alignment. Agents movement has the potential to define dynamic geometries and tectonics. In this case the agents movement define Fiberous mor-phologies. Fiberous bundling and separtion as weaving can be achieved through agents move-ment.

04 The main idea is to conceive the whole system of an Art institute as micro urban system which has different parts but all parts will be in a complex relationship which is required for an institute in the current age. A generic sustem as complex adaptive system is helping for making a complex program-matic relationship among differnet parts of teh whole system to synthesis it into a main system and to create diversity of experiences as sequences of dramatic spaces and events. An art institute greatly deals with sharing of infor-mation, which defines its essence abd leads towards cross programmed culture of activities rather distinct nothon of set functions. The quaility of spaces is reflected my the generic reflection of programtic concers through a concrete process, which allows spaces to be able to deal various events. These events are strong aspects of Art isnti-tute. The design process dictates a wide range of social aspects through tectonical formations. These formations are being represented as modulation of specific order, which keep on constantly changing based on topography and conditions within.

D E M O C R A C Y IN ARCHITECTURE Jazz music | poetic spacedistrict center, democratic expression

NCA , studio project, 2007P O R T F L I O

2014

05 This was an architecture studio project, which was based on my experiences of the site and their met-aphorical interpretation into architecture as a narrative in a democratic society especially when it is a building type (civic center) that should become a representation of the system (democracy) and thereby hopes and aspirations of the community. Architecture then partake of symbols, icons, and representations and ways of building, that the community already hold in high esteem accompa-nied with hierarchies of privileges. My experiences of the site defines as sequences of events in nature which exist in non symmetrical harmony. The project is about finding the intangi-ble essence and spirituality of the ambience and how I can create a symbiotic dialogue between site and architecture. Interpretation of the program and form was interpreted as sequences of activities happening on one spine like in jazz music different episodes of instruments are introduced on one continuous note. The idea defines architural logic as series of tectonics which haapens arround one spine in order to present it asymetrical spatial logic.

07 Design is based on programmatic, climatic, social and cultural concerns through simple rules . It was decided that planning and construction must be straight-forward. Design was based on multiple contextual and programmatic factors which suggest volumetric composition. Volumes are arranged in way to feed social and cultural intimacy among different components of school as a system.social and culural concers have been coded in arranngement of architectonics through series of analysis of time based social activities of students and differnt cultural events of beconhouse as a system.Further these volumatric composition are devel-oped into series of architectoincs which represent different event spaces. The Project includes the contextual debate as well, which defines its volumatric composition. The contextual debate define itself by reinterpreting cultural and architec-tural boundries and coming up with an idea of teconical formations. these Formations have the potential to perform various architectural and programaitc features of Beaconhouse as contem-porary school system.

Half poortion of the building was build in mud blocks and the other half in steel structure.Gymboree is an international organization, which works for childern education. The program was organized in volumetric composition. Music, play and education were the basic program to feed these volumetric composition.
