Start installing the plug in

Add Thrive Content Builder

Choose file to upload

Go to ‘Downloads’

Upload file

Add plug in

After uploading, activate plug in

Go to ‘Settings’

You will need to validate your license

Go to Thrive Member Dashboard

Copy license key

Fill in required fields

Enter email address

& license key

License activated. You can now start using Thrive!

Let’s create our first page using the editor

First, break the page down into sections

Ready? Let’s start!

Go to your WordPress Dashboard

Create page (add new) and publish

Proceed to edit page

This is the page lay out of Thrive’s‘Pressive’ Theme

Let us create our first page from scratch

Choose blank page (take note of ready to use templates)

Delete all elements from the page

Hover over element and delete

It will be empty except for the shadow

Drag to max width and clear shadow

Click, drag and drop elements into page

Add page section

Click and drag

Edit page section (background)

Choose-or upload-image to serve as background

Choose ‘Full height image’

Enter the page title

Edit the text element like you would in MS Word

Change text color to white and center

Lower the title by adding the paragraph/text element

Add block quote

Add block quote

Add a custom menu as widget

Note: Navigation menu should already be ready

(Dashboard>Appearance>Menus)

Edit custom menu options to change color and alignment

Next add the lead generation box

Add text and edit the lead generation box’s appearance

Change color of sign up button to orange

Edit box components (submit button text)

We are done with the first section

For the elements under the image, let’s use columns

Drag column lay out (1/3, 2/3) here

Add image element into Column 1

Drag image here

Add/upload image

Insert image (can also be a pdf or icon) into page

Done? Now work on the content box for Column 2

Edit border color under Content Box Options

Next we add the ‘Know More’ button

Drag button here

Choose button style (2) from button menu

Edit button color and center

Edit button text and configure link

We’re done with the second section

The third section is a gallery of posts

Featured image

Post Title

Add heading and edit

Add post grid, center title

Choose grid lay out

Choose content to include in grid

Choose post according to category, tag, etc.

Choose display settings

We’re done with the third section

For the last part, add a new page section

Change section’s background color to black

Add a custom menu widget (footer)

Drag widget here

Edit footer menu (white, center)
