OXYGEN LANCE SYSTEM FOR VOD In order to ensure an adjustable lance distance from the bath surface, the lance will be positioned by a geared motor with sprocket wheel and chain drive. The triple-chain is connected with the lance slider. The lance will be fixed by means of a quick coupling device which is fitted on the lance slider. Lance position will be determined by a decoder installed at the frequency driven motor.

Reference Picture: Oxygen Lance System The lance body consists of three tubes. The central pipe is containing the jet nozzles. Further tubes are arranged around the central pipe to guide the cooling water inside the lance.

At top the tubes are fitted for connections for water in- and outlet as well as oxygen.

Oxygen Supply is foreseen with an accurate Oxygen control station.

Central pipe and outer tubes are connected by flanges and sealed by packings.
