music genre the magazine will focus on Is mainly rock and metal.
The reason why the magazine will be called UNPLUGGED is because it
isa reference to acoustic music and it refers to a band playing
with theirordinary line up sitting on barstools. The articles in
the magazine will beabout upcoming releases, album/gig reviews and
issues that affectyoung adults

4. Audience/PublisherThe main audience of the magazine will be
males aged 15-24 as they arethe average demographic for music
magazines published by Bauer Media.The magazine will be published
by Egmont Publishing as they have a gap inthe market in terms of
their magazines for teenagers and adults. Thepublisher will also
benefit from the magazine as they are able to reach awider
audience. The magazine will be released bi-weekly and will cost 3
tomake it relatively affordable as 40% of the readers are in the
lower-middle orupper-working class.
5. Distribution Egmont already has an online presence so the
magazine will have aFacebook, Twitter, Instagram and a YouTube
Channel. Themagazine will also have a ustream to stream
performances,interviews and gigs. As well as having a physical
edition of the magazine, a digitalversion will be available. On
each feature article there will be aplaylist of the artists
songs.

7. Design Features The font that will be used for the title
will be Eras Bold ITC. Arial will beused for the main body of the
articles. Frankin Gothic Demi will beused for Sub headings. The
colour schemes used are mainly red, grey and black as they
arecommonly used colours in the music genre the magazine is
focusingon. For anniversary issues the color scheme will be
different todifferentiate it from the regular issues. The color
scheme for theanniversary issue will be blue, grey and yellow
8. Front Cover A black background will be usedfor the cover
image. The shot usedfor the cover will be a mediumclose-up shot.
The model willpreferably be male. The cover lines will be in red
text sothat it is eye catching and it standsout from the
background. The main coverline will be in whiteto differentiate it
from the othersas the article linked to it will beabout the model
in the cover.
