The Solution Lundmark Advertising + Design has developed a process to maximize design and production efficiencies while reducing overall cost. This process ensures each step is completed quickly and efficiently with licensor approval and final production in mind. From designing to style guide specifications, product photography & retouching, color mockups submitted to the licensor for approval, detailed production specifications, production art, production sample analysis and feedback to overseas vendors our team of packaging experts have over 15 years experience in the industry and know how to identify and solve issues before they become production problems.

The Challenge Create a new visual identity and product line packaging for the business-to-business door hardware and lockset manufacturer about to enter the business-to-consumer retail environment.

The InsightThe popularity of home remodeling and do-it-yourself home improvement centers created a new consumer and new opportunities for Weslock. To realize the current opportunities, Weslock needed to begin distributing their products through regional and national retailers.

The Result Weslock has gained distribution in a number of home improvement centers including Home Depot Expo and Sutherlands as well as specialty stores across the nation.

The Solution Lundmark worked closely with the sales and marketing organizations to produce packaging that would be easily adaptable to multiple retail configuration specs and protect the product during transit and at retail - all while creating a dynamic display vehicle designed to showcase the beauty and functionality of the product. Packaging designs were strategically created to develop an integrated brand presence in-store as well as feature each product collection.

The InsightCross-promotional opportunities with movie studios provide a vehicle to creatively interact with consumers and create an emotional connection with the target. Leveraging the popularity of relevant and trusted third party assets with a time sensitive promotion drives incremental category sales.

The Result Saving time and money. By managing and executing every step in the project from the concept phase to product photography, licensor approval to production, we are able to reduce the overall production schedule saving valuable time and considerable cost.

The Solution Lundmark Advertising + Design has coordinated the implementation and production of licensor packaging for projects with DreamWorks, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers Entertainment, Hasbro and Marvel. Each project is unique, but typically involves implementing assets across multiple SKUs and packaging formats, product photography & retouching, color mockups submitted to the licensor for approval, press checks and final production coordination.

The Challenge Effectively and cost efficiently coordinate, produce and seamlessly execute promotions and manage brand assets with a large organization servicing thousands of retailers across the nation.

The InsightIn-store promotions & P.O.P. displays activate incremental sales and gain valuable retail real estate. The coordination, production and execution requires thoughtful preparation, outstanding field communications and a solid execution system.

The Result Since the implementation of the Web based system, compliance for in-store promotional activity has increased and communications with the Sales organization has improved dramatically. The system originally developed for a single brand is now being implemented for all company brands.

The Solution Lundmark Advertising + Design developed a Web based system designed to efficiently execute in-store marketing promotions and manage brand assets. The system was built in coordination with Sales and Marketing ensuring both organizations objectives were achieved. The system allows the Sales organization the ability to easily access promotional information and assets as well as order support materials from in-store P.O.P. displays to on demand coupons - quickly and cost effectively.
