LogoI took a two week trip to Galmi Hospital, located in Niger Republic, West Africa, as part of a marketing team to gather information. Upon returning to the U.S., I developed this logo which illustrates Galmi’s care for the whole Nigerien family, from outpatients to obstetrics.

BrochureI developed this brochure for Sojourners, which clearly illustrates all of the many initiatives they have. To keep costs down I restricted the design to two printing colors.

BoothI translated the visuals—including the icons I’d designed—from the Sojourners’ brochure into a large tabletop booth display.

StickerI was given the language by Sojourners and asked to create a bumper sticker that would clearly communicate the message, while also being easy to read from a distance.

Web AdvertisementsFor the launch of Jim Wallis’ new book I was tasked with creating advertisements to promote it. Along with larger online static ads, I made smaller, animated ads that cycled through to show an endorsement from one of several different notable figures.

T-ShirtI was provided a quotation from a book, and asked to design a shirt for distribution at a Sojourners’ conference. The shirt had to follow Sojourners’ brand colors and communicate the quotation in a graphic way. I then took photographs and designed the advertisement to promote the shirt on Sojourners’ website and magazine.

MapI was asked to design a map to my friends art exhibit, which could be understood without written directions. I limited my color palette and focused on highlighting nearby parking lots and the sidewalks that connect them to the exhibition location.

PosterFor Joni Eareckson Tada’s induction into the Society of World Changers at Indiana Wesleyan University, I conceived of a two part campaign. The first poster featured a broken object which was then arranged into a cruciform in the subsequent poster.

PosterThe posters illustrated my concept that Mrs. Tada would have never dedicated herself to the service of disabled people throughout the world if it had not been for a diving accident, which left her paralyzed. I art directed our photographer and then assembled the images.

MagazineI developed several spreads for an admissions magazine for prospective students. The style had to be consistent with the existing undergraduate marketing material of Indiana Wesleyan University.

AdvertisementIndiana Wesleyan University had recently hired some new faculty for their honors college. I designed this announcement for placement in an academic journal.

Event CollateralFor the Gaither’s induction ceremony into the Society of World Changers at Indiana Wesleyan University, I created posters and table top displays to announce the event. I illustrated the myriad of songs and artists they have influenced by reproducing their song titles and artists names behind the primary text.

Program GuideI created the program guide to the Gaither’s induction ceremony at Indiana Wesleyan University in an elegant, simple style recognizing the ceremony’s connection to the university’s presidential office.
