WHAT IS THE MOST SEVERE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM CURRENTLY FACED BY HUMANS ?

• In my opinion, the most severe environmental problem currently faced by humans is global warming. The planet's temperature is rising. The trend is clear and unmistakable. Every one of the past 38 years has been warmer than the 20th century average.

• Globally, the average surface temperature has increased more than one degree Fahrenheit since the late 1800s. Most of that increase has occurred over just the past three decades.

DESCRIBE BRIEFLY THE NATURE AND CAUSE(S) OF THISPROBLEM.

• -too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere• -burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy • -gases used for refrigeration and industrial processes• -cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations• -carbon accumulates • -waste management and agricultural practices aggravate

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

SOLUTION 1: USE SOLAR PANELS

An alternative source of energy instead of using fuels that produce more carbon dioxide.

No emission harmful gases. Can either construct your own solar panels or

call expert people to install the same in the roof of your house.

SOLUTION 2: BETTER COMMUNITIES AND TRANSPORTANTION• Choose alternatives to drive such as public transit, biking, walking and

carpooling.• Can reduce carbon dioxide emission effectively.• Choosing to live in walkable community and transportation hub will mean less

time driving.
