We are a design management consultancy firm specialized in hospitality design solutions.
We represent the owners and hotel operators by overseeing the consultant’s design; we are the time and cost saving solution that focuses on the functionality and elegance of each property.
We assist the consultants in following the hotel operator’s design guidelines, space planning and branding; we cover the back of the house, the front of the house, the services, F&B, K&L, FLS and mock up room inspections.
Our aim is to save time and money to the owners by reducing back and forth submittals; and we contribute in increasing the consultants chances to be appointed for their hotel design services.

inndesignpro is founded and managed by amal iharkachen, a belgian architect with over 10 years of experience in the united arab emirates (dubai and abu dhabi) where she has specialized herself in the hospitality sector throughout her employments with hotel operators, developers and owners.
A strong team of technical experts is supporting each projects handled by idp, such as - but not limited to - space program provision, architecture, interior design, MEP, IT systems, fire life and safety design reviews, food & beverage, kitchen & laundry, technical site visits (mock up room) and hotel operator selection assistance.

Space program
The allocation of space among the principal functions in a hotel varies from property to property.
The most obvious difference between properties is the ratio of guest room space to public area space and support area space.
We assist the owners who did not appoint a hotel operator yet but wish to proceed with the design and/or construction; this set up may cause frictions as many
consultants refrain in providing - what is called - abortive work.
We provide a space program that allows the consultants to design the property’s envelope which will only receive minor adjustments in order to meet with the
appointed hotel operator’s guidelines.

Appointing the adequate hotel operator isn’t to be taken lightly as the contract can make an important difference to the financial performance.
We assist owners to maximize the operational performance and asset value; the only way to do so is by recommending the most suitable operator, minimizing the risks and creating an effective owner/operator relationship.

The conceptual design review covers conceptual drawings in respect to each discipline.
The preliminary design review covers schematic drawings and specifications of the relevant disciplines as stated above.
inndesignpro’s responsibility is to review the final plans and specifications to determine whether they conform to the operator’s standards. inndesignpro will assess
whether any deviations or inconsistencies therefrom are acceptable to enable the hotel to comply with the operator’s standards and request revisions if considered
appropriate.
The final/detailed design review covers detailed design drawings and specifications in respect to the systems which will comprise final working plans and specifications/list of equipment in sufficient detail for use as part of contract tender documents and contract working documents for submission to appropriate government departments and other authorities in connection with applications for requisite permits approvals, in addition to plans and specifications suitable for reproduction relative to marketing and advertising purposes.
