Founded by Tanya Davis and Al Winters in 2008, the partners have merged a wealth of experiences and skills into a company that will earn a remarkable reputation as a leading media firm. The two researched the market and came to a conclusion of promoting a more diverse publication, highlighting the lives of accomplished professionals while staying on the cutting-edge of their editorials.

We have a rapidly growing audience that is waiting for our first publication.  Our first publication will be issued Winter 2008. With such an ever-growing reader base, our advertisers will get the most out of their advertising dollars.  Our featured editorials are here to give you that extra edge that you need and our staff will continue to refresh the magazine to better suit the changing needs and desires of the readers.

Ice Magazine will have a minimum circulation of 50,000 copies every 3 months.  The estimated readership is 300,000.  Ice Magazine utilizes 3 distribution channels:

Demographic targeting   100,000 copies target mass reader venues, such as prestigious businesses and hair salons, etc.

Store ChainsMore than 40,000 of our units will be issued to stores throughout Tennessee and distributed nationwide.

WebsiteIce Magazine will utilize the Internet and have marketing avenues using our website and other sites such as My Space and You Tube. On average, 10,000 copies of our publication will be sold online or available for purchase via download.

ASSEMBLY GUIDELINES Create ad at 100% of print size.  Include all fonts (screen and printer) files used in layouts EPS and TIFF are the acceptable graphic file formats.  Flatten layers and outline any fonts Do not compress with LZW, TIFF, JPEG encoding All graphics should be saved as CMYK Properly prepared PDF files are acceptable.   When distilling Post Script Files be sure all fonts are

embedded and set your Distiller job options to the "press" setting.  PDF files saved directly from In design should also use the "press" job option

Mac format CD-RDVD are the only acceptable media formats

MECHANICAL GUIDELINES All publications print at 200lpi - halftone resolution should be a minimum 300 dpi Line work should be set to a minimum of 1200 dpi On full page or spread ads, pull all bleeds, a minimum of 1/8" (.125) further than the trim size TAC (Total area Coverage) not to exceed 300% Unless special ordering an additional color, all spot or Pantone specified colors should be converted to

process (CMYK) color

REQUIRED PROOF A contract color proof is required with every ad,  If an acceptable proof is not provided, color consistency will not be guaranteed.  Acceptable contract proofs include Kodak Approvals, FUJI Pictro Proof, Epson or Matchprint Digital Proof.  For a list of additional SWOP certified proof please visit www.swop.org

Publisher reserves the right to decline or reject any advertisement for any reason at any time.

All ads that are held by the advertiser must be released 45 days prior to the published closing date.

Advertisers may not cancel insertion orders after material deadline.

A 50% deposit is due at signing & the remaining balance is due upon approval of proof. We accept cash or checks and funds must be available before going to print. Payment is non-refundable, however, credit will be given toward next issue.
