How to Install an Extension in Magento

Step – 1

Type www.magentoecommerce.com

Step – 2

Login into your account or create new account.

Step – 3

Click on Connect menu.

Step – 4

Type your extension in search bar and select appropriate platform.

Step – 5

Take advantage of advance search options, refine your search result by exploring your search and get most appropriate extension.

Step – 6

Click on ‘Install Now’ button, as your extension version is 1.4 then you have to select ‘Magento Connect 2.0’. Click on it.

Step – 7

Now click on ‘Get Extension Key’ button.

Step – 8

Copy extension key.

Step – 9

Now go to admin panel and select ‘Magento Connect Manager’ option from System menu.

Step – 10

Login into ‘Magento Connect Manager’.

Step – 11

Now, paste extension key and click on Install.

Step – 12

Now you will get the status of your extension and then click on ‘Proceed’ button to install extension.

Step – 13

You have successfully installed your extension.

Step – 14

Now, click on ‘Refresh’ button.

Step – 15

You can see your extension at the end.
