DESCRIPTION

In the Semester project for Interaction Design, we designed a system for idea sharing and development within the entrepreneur community at IITG. With the problem statement of not having that many ideas realized to a good level in the Entrepreneurship cell. The platform would allow idea sharing, expert feedbacks and development for the budding entrepreneurs with incorporation of creative tools and design methodology.

i don’t generally follow any process to convert my into something of great value

present my idea in form of presentation, video or poster etc

sometimes ideas fail due to the priority of it with respect to other work and time constraints

user sometimes needs the help of expert or mentor to know how to work on his idea

user unaware of different pro-cess that could be helpful in developing his idea to a rpoduct or service of value

problem statement

To design a platform for the creative and innovative individuals ,helping them share and work on their ideas. Many ideas that come to their mind remain just thoughts due to the lack of knowledge and support which is essential for the development. This platform,by the help of crowdsourcing will allow people from all areas of field in their idea develop-ment and realisation

scene 1:Ramesh is a curious indivivdual.Onefine evening while sitting besides thewindow, observing the regular trafficjams,he has an idea!!I think if we mayimplement this to our locality, the problem of traffic jams can be solved.A moment of clearity,I want to savethis thought, can,t lose it.So Rameshpicks a piece of paper, writes a few points and draws a few doodle and the idea is stored

current scenario

scene 2:After some time when the idea isshaping in his mind(he has been infatuated with this parasytic idea). He shapes it and presents it to shareit with suresh, his close friend. But Ramesh is not able to communicatein just words, what his intention is.So he takes the help of a pen andpaper and a few objects kept on thetable to creatively put forth a demonstration.Wow says suresh thismight just work.

scene 3:Motivated by his first positive opinionRamesh wants to seriously work on this idea.He sits on internet and searches for some inspiration.Havingread a few articles/researches and other similar solutions,he concludesthat the idea is novel and might be of value some day.By this time the idea in his head is much clearer than what it was thefirst time.

Page 19: Design project 1 ideabox

current scenario

scene 4:Ramesh goes to school,he is excitedwants to share the idea.He mightsolve a big problem here. But whomto share with a few people who he thinks have a wide interest and are curious about things.Communicatingand convincing about the idea, the fellows are having a doubt where willthis idea go after such a discussion. One of them suggest to look for a“MENTOR”

scene 5:Ramesh now clearer than ever aboutthe idea approaches an Enterpreneurin his college society to discuss theidea’s potential and fate.An opinionfrom the expert is also required, sohe visits a professor in the mathematics dept. to get anotherinsight.Very well now he has the feedback of experts and has shaped the idea to a good level.

scene 6:Now Ramesh is left by himself.Hewas succesfully able to communicate somehow what his intent is.But whatnow? How does he go about implementing
