• He was an American graphic designer of Hungarian origin, well known for his work as editor-in-chief of Colors magazine.

• Tibor Kalman is known for using design as a means of mass communication to expand the general public’s knowledge on social issues.

• Most of Tibor Kalman’s work was produced during the 1980s and 1990s.
