PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.Medical Logix approached Design Drive with a particular problem at hand. They needed to be able to deliver their CME-based educational content across a digital medium. They needed a solution to be able to mesh video with digital assets.

The Solution.Design Drive, from reviewing the task at hand, architected an innovative flash-based player that allows video to be meshed with power point presentations and even have the power to cue up a particular slide to by in sync with the video during playback. The solution also provides that each asset utilized by the video player lives external without need of modifying any internal application resource.

The Results.From what Design Drive delivered, it provided the medium for Medical Logix to not only launch a single CME program through the application, that it also slip streamed the development process in such a way that Medical Logix could rapidly deploy multiple CME in half the time. The end result was that Medical Logix had a program that they can leverage to bring in more clientele while reducing internal consumption costs during the development cycle.

PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.ePrize.com initiated Design Drive with a particular task; to build out a digital promotion for their client, Disney World. The promotion needed to be rendered as an online sweepstakes promotion that ran on the Weather.com

The Solution.Design Drive, from taking in all the required information, designed and deployed a digital sweepstake that was able to gather information on the subscribers through the Weather Channel’s online portal. All the information was gathered on an in-house server to be later leveraged by ePrize.com for their promotional needs.

The Results.The sweepstake was at the end presented on the front page of Weather.com through a banner add click. The end result, was that there were tens of thousands of online users that participated in this sweepstake. This allowed ePrize.com to be able to generate future sweepstakes towards that type of client-base.

PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.The problem that gURL.com brought to our attention during the time was that they had a singe game in this specific but needed to be able to leverage the game so that multiple instances could be built out with half the cost.

The Solution.After carefully reviewing the requirements and the task at hand, we re-developed the game to be able to utilize external assets, use in-house email features, and adapt the game to the infrastructure of iVillage including metrics. The solution was to productize the application instead of it being a one-off.

The Results.The results were amazing. The final application was a single-based solution which was able to pivot not only one, but three major games, in which each had thousands of assets. The application ran smooth, and had no need of redevelopment for every iteration of a new game. All that had to be done was upload the assets in the proper folders, push a different key to the game engine, and it did the rest.

PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.HP is positioning itself as an all integrated user generated content media company that just happens to make great computer products. One particular subject of interest is reaching the Hispanic Market. Closely following the success of Hulu.com our client wanted to replicate that success for the Hispanic market.

The Solution.We gave our client an architected website GUI that can be re-skinned and replicated for any language group and any ethnic group by tailoring the program content to any specific ethnic market. All the content loaded externally and utilized our proprietary flash player.

The Results.The project is fully funded and is proceeding ahead to the development phase.

PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.LOWE Worldwide – NY division, had approached Design Drive with a tremendous task – a Global 60 page PowerPoint Presentation for one of their largest clients. The presentation needed to be MAC / PC compatible, utilize company alphabet (a special typeface that SAAB utilizes) throughout as well as have videos that will play in the presentation.

The Solution.Design Drive came through with the presentation – compatible on both PCs and MACs, utilizing the font face embedded throughout the document which allowed the client’s corporate branding to shine through. The complexity was within the embedding of the font face since MS Power Point does have its built in flaws in regards to typography as well as playing videos within the PowerPoint Presentation. The solution to this was an innovative concept that Design Drive had in house on producing high-resolution text without losing quality and a few tech tricks to make the videos work.

The Results.Design Drive produced a high-end, clean promotional presentation that was utilized on the client’s global campaign. The resulting factor was a template for SAAB that can be reutilized by switching in new graphics and text without losing the embedded font face that was built in.

PROJECT BRIEF. The Task.LocalMaids.com is a startup cleaning service franchise in need of a web presence to promote their services, contain an ecommerce capability and entice potential business owners to enroll, all on a very tight budget.

The Solution.After we at Design Drive have assessed the needs of this nimble company with large aspirations, we developed a great looking website and characters to make it playful, user friendly and functioning.

The Results.Website is due to launch ahead of schedule. Client is extremely satisfied and initial presentation of the concept to investors raised the needed capital to launch.
